Hi Marina! My dts are small so theyre struggling with the regular stuff and the plus items. I think it was a bad idea to overload the smaller stores with those plus items. My closest dt was a chaotic mess today, it made me sad. I had a strange feeling when dt bought over family dollar that was a big sign they didn't want to be a dollar store anymore. I wont say that I'll stop shopping if they raise the prices again, but i will try to not go so often (wish me luck with that) 😂 Take care.

What a great walk through. My DT that is walking distance from Newberg, is a small store don't think it will be a plus store.I know CFC in California some of these stores are plus. Sorry to hear about the price change in boxed cereal. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day

Marina yes you're right about the cereal I saw a $1 tree brand name said on orange sticker $1.25 was crossed out manager said they're getting ready to put those cereals up to $1.50 not yet so I was able to get it for regular price $1.25 I'm in PA

Hmmm, while I understand cost of everything is going up, I cut way back on how much I buy at DT after they went to $1.25 because things like seasonings are still $1.00 at my grocery store and some other items are cheaper to buy in bulk elsewhere. I do still love all the fun Holiday and seasonal stuff (AND SOCKS!). If they do move to $1.50 my list will go down even more, and we still do not have any PLUS stores in my area to draw me in!

Will definately rethink what I buy from DT if prices continue to rise. They really need to change the name of their stores...its no longer *Dollar* Tree...I understand with things rising price wise but I will find it necessary to be more aware of what I am purchasing and do my homework!

I'm so disappointed to hear about the definite cereal price increase, and the probable increase of everything else to $1.50. What ever happened to some prices going back to $1.00? I feel there are already many things that aren't worth $1.25, so my shopping trips are going to be fewer and further between.

I have to admit dollar tree is starting to make me angry. I know they have high prices of wages and rents to deal with but cmon cab we settle into the pkus sections before you make it more complicated ...

@@confessionsofadollartreeaddictI feel DT started going downhill once they implemented the plus section, which, at the stores I go to remain mostly untouched. Someone at corporate is making some very bad decisions. Good news is, there's always Temu, Walmart, and flea markets.

Makeup is so expensive at Drugstore, that the Dollartree liquid makeup flies off the shelf. I nevwr see Flowee Beauty anymore.

Hey Marina, I can't believe the prices stayed the same for decades and now what is going on? I loved being able to walk in a store knowing I can get so many items for that day. I used to take the kids and say you guys can get 3 items each or whatever. I do appreciate the name brands and better quality so maybe that's just the price of progress. I'm sure I'll still shop there at 1.50 each. Oh well🧡

Hola! Regarding the reusable snack bags: i may have added to many grapes, but two of my bags separated where the green and floral parts meet. 🤔 Thinking about how to reconnect the pieces. 😮 yes, many would say throw it away, but i want to see if i can repair them! BTW .. Love ❤️ this channel!

Nice walkthrough - it’s nice to see what the DT has. I go maybe once a month, if that. Not surprising they are increasing prices again, people are always going to shop and pay for what it is needed, 1.50 for name brand cereal isn’t the worst thing still cheaper than $8 box they try to sell for the same thing at the supermarket . The metal flowers are nice. Have a good one.

Tfs! Nice walk-thru! My Dr. recommended melatonin to me yrs ago & I didn't know much about it & I tried 5mg & told her it didn't do much for me.. she apologized & said she should've explained more.. she ended up telling me that 3mg seemed to be the sweet spot..for her patients anyway & when her patients took 5mg or more it didn't work as well for them as 3mg.. but she didn't know why..so I gave it another shot & did seem to have better luck.. antway. maybe that'll help ur son or someone else here. Also.. not thrilled w price increases either..but I've decided to not be TOO hard on DT & realize the decision is mine as too what I buy & dont buy, & they'll still have some great deals on things..just not everything.. but who does? Lol.. anyway, hope everyone has a great day!

Hello Marina not happy about price increase. Really like the makeup brushes. Hope to find the TXTR and Cantu shea butter shampoo. Need the Menstrual Cramp for my grand daughters. The Softee hint of color spray comes out fairly heavy for me, so be careful how you spray it! I wish my store hadn’t discontinued getting the Modess brand large washcloths.☹️ I’d always stock up, they are great for travel & all kinds of messes & smell good too. I’m sad.😢

32:29 I'm not sure exactly what your dietary needs are regarding "zero sugar"... but be VERY CAREFUL with "labels", especially ones like that saying "zero sugar 'ADDED'", they are VERY tricky with their marketing!! ***When you turned the label to the ACTUAL INGREDIENTS, it does have sucralose, which can actually be even worse than regular sugar*** Info from an article: Evidence is building that daily intake of Splenda and sucralose can trigger many potential side effects: May alter glucose and insulin levels. May be a migraine trigger. Significantly decreases beneficial gut flora. Increases diarrhea and bloating. May play a role in certain cancers, according to an animal study in 2016

Hi marina diy donna here love the walk-through great thing's but here in ohio The manager at my store told me that it was going to be pop 175, which we all know that cereal is going up to 150, and just some more items like in the plus section that was going to be new items that there are gonna be different prices. He said he would let me know when we got closer. What else is going to happen?so when he does i will let you know what he says

i have found some great books. the most recent score is a new york times best seller and it's a book about clean eating. i need to gain weight, not lose it, but i don't feel like this is a book to help shed weight- it's more about getting the proper nutrients we need from our food.
