The Fever is not in the same universe with the Sky. The Sky will outrebound them 2-1 or more. They will score 30 pts on put-backs alone. Boston can barely make it up and down the court. It is hard to believe that no one on the Fevers bench can play better than Boston. She was the rookie of the year last year? Maybe she has a serious injury that they are concealing. When she is in the game she looks like she is depressed. If she needs help they need to get it for her. It looks like the Fever coach makes no effort to help their shooters get into a rhythm. Either the coach does not have a coherent scheme on offense or the players just aren't able to implement it. Hard to say which is true. There is no reason to think that this will change as the season goes on. Even if Clark is as good as her fans think she is, it will make little difference. Teams shift to defend her and the Fever cannot take advantage of the vulnerability that creates. It is sad to have to make these observations, but this how is the Fever present on the floor. On the other hand, the last thing the Fever should want from other teams is sympathy. But what will the attitude toward the Fever be if they arrive at something like 2-15 by mid season.
That game is far from a rivalry and just a way to keep Clark relevant. I see coach Christie Sides is taking all the blame for the fever when truth of the matter Lin Dunn Fever GM did not select the best personnel in the draft and off season trades. Fever was already a guard dominate team. If Kelsey Mitchell, Erica Wheeler, Grace Berger and Lexie Hull was in the line up, what was Caitlin Clark for other than to tap into the money she was accumulating. What indiana needed was more bigs like Reese and Cordoso who could add an inside outside game between Boston Smith and Fagbenele. Sky is going to kill them in rebounding. Chennedy Carter will be assigned Caitlin Clark or Marina Mabrey and Dana Evans
She’s not taking a shot,she was more-so referring to herself. She’s saying it’s not just because her, it’s because her team too. She’s standing with the WNBA as a whole, and I’m sure her coworkers respect that being how big of a star Angel is. Angel reese game was not nearly sold out, it was 5,000 less people when the fever played the liberty and tickets were 4 times less than the price of a fever game. The balcony seats for the fever game were 200 bucks, the for tickets for th sky game were 128 bucks. That's a huge difference. I like both girls and want both to do well. But you gotta be real

Every parent sees the daughter they have or want and every kid sees the sister they have or want.
