Fever sort of had to draft CC...if they had any brains they would have drafted KM in the 2nd round. Would have made too much sense to grab her teammate and best friend...but then Christie Sides doesn't seem to be big on team chemistry.
Christy Sides has her favorites and she's slowly coming around to the chaos on the court CC thrives in. I don't think Sides could have handled a team with Martin and Clark. I'm rooting for Sides, she's a newer head coach that doesn't command respect yet. I just see the chemistry not working, as much as I agree with you. Celeste Taylor played big minutes against the Fever after being cut too. Glad she got picked up quickly
Looks like she rolled her ankle. The fact she had some pressure on it walking off the court demonstrated it wasn’t too severe. And the fact that she came back out and sat on the bench instead of having it elevated and iced along with other therapies showed that it wasn’t that serious.
No she's not that wasn't that bad her foot slipped I mean I guess if you didn't play basketball you think that looks worse than it actually does there's tile people that are supposed to wipe the floor up when the people fall and die for balls and someone clearly missed a spot her foot slipped and her leg extended it weird if she didn't hurt her Achilles tendon all she did was hyperextend her leg and maybe sprained her right ankle and Kate Martin is tough she's not one of them soft ass boys that are playing in the NBA now she'll be back in a week
I had what looked like a very similar injury playing basketball. I torn three ligaments and fractured my ankle. I’ve had numerous pretty severe injuries but that one excruciating. I went down on my back and lifted my leg to look and the swelling was already coming out of my high tops. She is one tough woman. For her sake it would be better to just have a fracture. I had to have surgery. I hope she recovers quickly.
@@CynVee I really felt it. It made me cringe because I had a very similar injury playing basketball and mine was horrible. I had to have surgery to repair three ligaments and it was fractured. I can tell you she is one tough woman.
@fetchingcat4914 so sorry you went through this. I played hs basketball 100 years ago and fortunately never suffered such an injury, lots of jammed fingers and a dislocated shoulder, but this looks very painful. Hope you aren't suffering any aftereffects. Now that I am older, I find that many ancient injuries have come back to haunt me.
She probably hit a 'wet spot' and twisted her ankle. This could be a result of the fans in the front row carrying drinks back to their seats and causing a little spill...very dangerous. In Chicago, nobody cares about cleanliness and such anyway so I am not surprised. I lived in that city for seventeen years and it's so poorly run...the saying about Chicago has always been: "The City that Works" which I learned the hard way just meant the good jobs went to those with 'clout.' So, there is not any responsible person who has the work ethic to walk around the court during the breaks to check the floor for wet spots as that would make sense.
