One of the main regulations is to pay those athletes what’s agreed upon. These collectives, coaches, recruiters be telling athletes boldface lies, breaking promises, paying less than the agreed upon amount, spreading rumors when these athletes take issue with the clown behavior of these universities
Billions! And people really think they weren’t paying under the table before this. This is why Nick Saban retired. It was going to reveal how winning wasn’t really about him. It’s about the players you get.
@@arthurharris2059 💯 I totally agree to an extent! Ironically, I literally live in Bainbridge, Ga (229). Which is the hometown of C. Smart, grew up watching him play. So I shouldn't have to state my support my support/love for Bulldogs! I still stand on what I said, because CP ability to connect culturally to the majority of the player's that win the Championship's. If the Buff's can WIN, "WE most definitely want to play for US", and vice versa💯😎
It doesn't surprise me. It would be one of the Bluebloods that would get caught up. NIL was the initially the way players could receive money, but it wasn't enough. The Collectives were established by those very schools to continue to the recruitment the top talent with the help in most cases by state legislators.
You'll never hear this type of mess coming out of blueblood programs. Reputation maintenance is too ingrained in their machinery for that that to happen. Proximity programs, whether they're 2nd or 3rd tier, like the the Florida programs is something else.
Wow!! This kid didn’t even prove himself in anything and he suppose to get that kind of money??????? They’re getting more than the pros. This is sickening and the NCAA needs to get a set price for these kids and it shouldn’t be more than $100,000 per year……… shaking my damn head
Problem is they gonna have to pay the young man and he gonna end up leaving after he gets the money because how you gonna play for a school that you had to sue ?!!
He don't play for Florida lol. He plays for UGA now... He left Florida when the nil fail through and went to ASU then transferred to UGA after freshman season
Coach Prime said this . Ain’t no way these kids getting endorsements before anyone knows them because they can’t sell anything. It’s definitely coming from Boosters n donors
How about your spoil kid narcissist Deon. Oh they don't have rules like other. That's why no GM is drafting your kids unless if he is looking to be fired
@@TonyPac-ub3dd Wow, u sound very bitta, bitta, bitta? Sounds like u have a personal beef w/CoachPrime and/or ShedeurSanders. Define Narcissist; and how's narcissism applicable to ShedeurSanders? Break it down for us who see him differently🙄
@TonyPac-ub3dd spoiled?hater please, them Coach Prime kids are putting in the work.yes, their father is a trend setter and world renowned and loved.Yes we love Coach Prime down here in south Africa, them boys are they still getting theirs. Stop with the Coach Prime hate and adress your situation chief.
Baseball and Hockey players have been getting contracts in high school for years. Please let me know if I am wrong, if I am correct let us know what other sports athletes get contracts in high school.
This is what happens when you join a TEAM for money and not the sport itself. These kids and their parents has gotten of track and money hungry. They hear these huge figures and logic and good sense goes out the window. GREED!!! All these schools have to do is dangle a few dollars in front of them and they "Flip". Instead they should be focusing on their craft, growing, progressing and preparing for the NFL.
The real question is how all these business owners able to write off the donated collective money on their company taxes that the real hustle. In short let's not get blinded by the lights. If I was a booster I'm not giving up millions for nothing. On a player who has not played a single college play. Dig deep into this. In short yes I'm a successful business man and I would love to sponsor a kid if I knew I was triple my money with a major write off.
@@tanyaknewman1892 I think that's the problem. Collectives are being packaged as NIL deals, without any limitations to "donors" or oversight. I'm all for players to get the bag though, but the devil is in the details.
@@tanyaknewman1892 NIL ad Collectives are 2 different resources.. NIL (Name Image Likeness)= networking, relationships, sponsorships, advertisement dollars where the Collective =a big GoFundMe controlled by the boosters who pick and choose who to break off and what amounts..
These collectives basically are giving out 360 deals for athletes. Putting money up then snatching it away once the kids sign. I won't be surprised if thesekids leave some of these school owing the school some of their NFL money, if they make it.
Taking advantage because the terms probably wasn't in writing? NCAA has to create a universal standard for collectives and NIL payouts. For example, a standard payout and if the student athletes are considered 🤔 elite, double that 🤔
This is stupid. They can't regulate the collective. The ncaa cant stop players from being paid. The supreme court already slapped them twice. The only way to stop collectives is to employ the players and make them sign a non compete.
Get it in writing and lawyer up! $13.8 million dollars - this is bananas. Get the money and make sure structured payments are on time and if not, put in an escalator clause for full payment within 24 hours and if that does not happen, walk away fast!
Paying kids with no experience in managing money or the discipline to understand money will keep the kids uncommitted to anything. College education for athletes is a joke. It doesn’t exist
What? Are you people proud? He got the bag right? All that bitchin and moan and now look at the state of CFB. Gambling ads every commercial and players filing lawsuits against coach’s. Enjoy it guys.
If not the collective, schools will hide behind NIL money. Find a local brand and funnel money through them. Let’s say someone owns a bakery on campus, what’s stopping a booster from having the bakery sign the kid. All the kid has to do is make a few post under his contract obligations and whatever the agreed payment is.
If coach prime played in the collective era he would be asking for a lot of money. He's just bummed out that Colorado doesn't have the assets for that. They barely had assets to pay his contract and not even the school had to pay for the contract. He had it come out with merch and the fans is what it is. Change will happen soon. No wonder we have college football. Coming up because of collective
Deion was right but this kid's parents are running his career. They are greedy. I wouldn't touch this kid due to his parents. Sounds Todd Marinovich story all over again. If your not old enough to remember that guy then just google and you will see the exact same thing happening to Jaden Rashada
its not NIL.. its the collectives.. a player should be for their Name Image and Likeness.. but the media is grouping it into one bucket to have folks looking sideways at the players that get NIL money.. the collective is a big GOFUNDME ran by the boosters .. basically.. if YT is making money off your name.. shouldn't you be compensated for it as well?
Jon the liquidator I am disappointed in you and coach prime. Top players have always got paid. America is a free market society period. Players should be able to make what the market pays. If you can't pay get out the game. Coach prime got paid in college. Only people complaining is the school's that can't pay. America is a free market system period.😅
