I think a few things happened to Fudge on C9 1) TOP lane became a weak side role based on the META changes but also because of Blaber and Berserker. They won their last split in summer by playing around Berserker with hyper carry and enchanter supports. Blaber is also the king of the farming style which meant Fudge was getting minimal jungle attention. He played this role really well in my opinion but because of it he unfairly got criticized for “doing nothing” by Bwipo when that’s what his team needed from him. 2) I think Fudge got a little too comfortable being on C9. For a while there it seemed like C9 was in a class of their own and that they would win every single split for the rest of time. But very quickly TL and FLY put together really strong rosters and for the first time ever since Fudge was on C9, the league had 2-3 other really good teams just as good if not better than C9 and they couldn’t just walk their way to a 1st place finish. Now that Fudge has been humbled a bit to light a fire under his ass AND now that he is paired with a ganking playmaker jungler in Contractz, I can’t wait to see the new Fudge get back to his peak form
@@FitzgeraldStanburyWeissV I will always sh*t on a player who sh*ts on his own fans. 🤷♀️ I don't care how good he is. If that's the vibe, I am forever DONE. Sorry not sorry. (That's just my opinion. I wanted to give perspective on why some people, like myself, may not like Fudge... It's fine if this sorta thing doesn't matter to you and you feel differently about him as a player.👍Maybe a humbled SR Fudge will say nice things to his fans and change my mind in the future. Who knows!)
I want to see Contractz and Ignar back together again. Those 2 guys with Nisqy will be crazy hype for spicy early game plays around the map. Only downside to Nisqy is it takes up an Import slot. I think it will be a tough choice between Ignar or an import ADC (assuming Ignar would want to come back to LCS to play on this team)
Honestly it would be lame af for SR to drop Insanity. He's the main reason why I follow the team and he's a strong native Midlaner. I love Nisqy but Insanity has a higher upside. They should keep Bvoy and pick up Ignar as well.
Americas will NOT catch on. Every broadcast ever has done 3 letter branding. NFL, NHL, EPL(soccer), LCS, LLA, NBA, FOX, NBC ect. Consumer data and traditional media shows 3 letter abbreviation for broadcast leagues does much better in minds of the consumer than longer titles. I suspect LCS stays around as a broadcast name for a bit and then they just have events names like MSI or Challengers ect.
I'm all for the Americas!!! Let's be honest LCS has brought shame to the region competitively and the esports scene. Overhyped, Overspending, and Overrated was the LCS compared the other major regions throughout it's history. It's a shame it takes death's door for the LCS to inspire hope but that hope is not for the LCS it's for the Americas. So let's start a new chapter with this brand new "hope". FUCK THE LCS
It's not a super-team, it could be pretty good. Fudge Contractz Nisqy Bvoy IgNar I don't know if Nisqy is actually going to LCS, or if Bvoy is staying (also, IgNar might not be going anywhere), but this roster would be pretty decent.
@@FitzgeraldStanburyWeissV You see non of those players are a solid carries. Fudge was a carry player at some point but on his last year he was not him anymore. Contractz is not a carry player at all. Nisqy can have his moments but hes not known to be that super carry mid like Quid, Quad or Jojo. Bvoy from last split has shown to be a solid adc but idk if thats gonna be enough. I dont see the direction of this team but i'd like to be proven wrong.
