Typical behavior of EA, they know that people require money to work, where AI you just give a command and it does it without asking for payment after, they really are becoming cheap and thoughtless.
A lot of companies are vaguely gesturing at AI as becoming a part of their process or whatever. It seems more likely that this is a case of gold old fashioned “lower quality and squeeze existing workers for as much as possible.” AI isn’t cheap; it’s heavily subsidized by big companies so it seems like it is, but the infrastructure and computing costs are exorbitant. Really seems like companies doing the same old shit and then mumbling something vague about AI to make stock prices increase and make layoffs seem justified or “future-thinking.”
Nothing wrong with that, an AI when trained properly is capable of auto fixing bugs. Though this is clearly a lie, as nothing created using AI can be copyrighted and EA wouldn't risk that. A wouldn't risk losing their brand just to lower the amount of people that they have to hire. Though a built in chatbot that can see you are having issues figuring out how to do xyz and can help you is useful.

An individual who has to tolerate people using voice synthesizers and digital instruments complaining if I use a voice narrator that I trained using my own vocal cords because the novel I physically write for it to say doesn't qualify as, my work because you've chosen to classify it as a prompt from then on because I used tech you slave drivers don't like. And when I point out the reason that I need to do that is because I am disabled you actively basically bully me for being disabled. Will I have no sympathy you either acknowledge that tech belongs in certain things or you stop complaining about the busted buggy mess that humans have wrote you
Well, if they have just one novice coder coding the Sims 4, and it kinda seems that way with the number of bugs the packs are released with, then AI actually could do it better, provided they tell the AI to consider the code of all the previous packs and not just the base game.
AI isn’t magic. It can’t just “magically” consider the code of previous games in the way you’re implying it can. You can include previous code as part of its dataset, I guess, but you can’t tell AI to just rely or account on certain parts of that dataset.
It already is for me. I don't care if the game is 60% playable, the game itself isn't my cup of tea, and that combined with it running like a toaster is beyond god awful. I genuinely cant stand their townies, i hate the aesthetics where everything's too bright and overly saturated. what up with all the rainbows, the furniture and clothes are all weird and ugly, and worst of all the sims themselves behave like escaped lunatics. Yes i could get custom content to fix the aesthetics, but i cant do much with the sims themselves and the busted game. I'm not emersed in this BS. If it wasn't for the sims being proportional and them giving many different ways to make humans then i wouldn't give 2 Fs about this game at all, the only 2 things keeping me interested in this game is their customizable neighborhood progression and the sim's character designs themselves where they don't look too one way or the other, they're just people we can turn into anyone unlike the sims 3 where we have no choice than to make stocky people who always look somewhat pudgy with weirdly round heads.

Releasing new packs is already unhinged, if they're already using AI, and the AI isn't taking the code from all the previous packs into account, then it could explain all the bugs, cause already AI can code provided on the details you want it to do and how much you describe to it.
The Game is already creatively bankrupt and physically broken. AI wont help them. Its just an excuse to not hire artists and coders. Sies EA, for shame!
You do realize that in order to implement AI they need to hire artists and programmers? Someone needs to design and build the AI, and then someone needs to make the creative decisions to then use AI, write the prompts, choose the final design, photoshop it, color correction, etc. there are so many things that come to building a game, animating, coding

It doesn’t create by stealing from others it processes your voice with models that have been trained by people who consented to their voices being used to train ai. It’s ethical as all it does it process your voice, albeit badly (from my experience with speech to text it’s not great)
as a person, who is working in gamedev, this is an extremely worrying trend. It's i think the third or the fourth big gamedev company that laid off hundreds of employees in just two months of this year. I know that simmers mostly care about the quality of the game (and it's a very fair consern, i think it's gonna be declining), but my heart also goes out to people, who have been making this game. It is be really rough to be fired, because the machine is faster and "more efficient" than you and it costs company less money. No matter how they spin this, it's just another sign of an incredibly greedy corporation. And they are proud to show it too, like this Andrew Ryan guy.
It's so frustrating to see companies right out laying off so many folks instead of using the new technology to assist their current employees in being more efficient. The tech is still NOT good enough to fully replace a human!
I think the situation with Sims 4 is "interesting" because customer goodwill has already been eroded by years of broken and abandoned packs. At this point the layoffs might be an explanation but many people don't have much sympathy left. Which is a shame! I don't like these massive layoffs, but I also don't like being ripped off for almost a decade.

Fuck AI. It takes jobs away from humans while CEOs earn even more millions of dollars. I'm not interested in giving them more money, especially since I had to disable my last $40 that I spent (For Rent). I wish we could return packs. I actually would have purchased the jewelry pack if it came out before Rent but now I'm afraid to buy any other DLC.

Ive been pirating sims games for years now and its so easy if you follow a tutorial. For sims 4 all you have to search is in google sims 4 free download and it will be there. NEVER had a problem with my computer over it.😂@@xtremeyoylecake
"EA announces AI coming to EA Games." No, no and fuck no! Any gaming company that replaces humans with AI in their games completely ruin the games and the love that's put behind said games! AI have ZERO love for the games they are used to "Develop", where as people who make the games put a lot of their time and effort into said games, The Sims 2 is an excellent example of that. Companies who rely on AI rather than people to make, develop and design their games are LAZY and CHEAP and will have a game with zero love and effort put into it's creation.

They might get new players, but new players aren't their foundation nor will they all adhere. I've completely given up sims games; They can't win me back. I consume sims content simply to support creators. There are many in my boat now. The problems are too clear, too loud, and too unavoidable. I don't care what Project Renee becomes simply because of how they thought they could treat the consumer during sims 4. If any of my adult friendships ending taught me anything it's that sometimes letting go is better than holding onto false hope that something'll improve or change. EA is a monster, EA will continue to be a monster, EA will consume you unless *you* step out of the way.
The fact that they laid off a whole bunch of employees and are looking to use AI is such trash, especially as someone who is a 3D Artist for games. EA is such a trash company. The kind of AI they should be working on is making the sims 4 sims AI much smarter.
Not necessarily. Steams TOS bans copyrighted AI, not AI in general. As long as they are using AI on their own material or material they’ve purchased the rights too (which is still cheaper than paying hundreds of devs) they are fine. It’s less of a statement against AI and more of a way to detract liability from all the potential copyright infringements and new laws that are likely to come in the next decade as a result of AIs widespread use in game development. That being said I wouldn’t put it past EA to become an offender. But they can easily patch and replace any offense that slips through the cracks.

Sorry for the long comment ahead, but I think EA is masking how popular The Sims 4 is. They don't disclose sales figures, so it's hard to gauge, but when people compare TS4's sales to Sims previous games they forget that when these 3 games were released gaming was a niche market. TS3 was still been sold on disks, and the transition to a digital-only format occurred between 2012 and 2014. It was only during TS4 times that gaming became a global mainstream form of entertainment. So, it's only logical that TS4 has the biggest player base/most sales because gaming as a whole has become popular, and had an easier point of access for consoles/gaming PCs (except for the last 2 years with crypto inflating GPU prices), etc. Plus it was the only real-life simulator in the market when the pandemic hit. But here are some things that make me think that TS4 isn't doing as well as they want to portray: - Journey to Batuu media play, remember the "glitch" where the pack was said to be necessary for Cats and dogs to work in the origins/ea app? Its release removed the game from RU-vid's trending page, making it harder for them to reach new people. Their next release didn't trend either. - They released the base game for free. EA did it because they weren't selling it anymore and needed a large influx of new players for their shareholders. That is why, at the last fiscal report, they only mentioned player network increase for The Sims 4 and not net bookings (total revenue - physical and digital). - TS4's increasing sales of new/recent DLCs are probably to recoup losses in their projected sales. It might mean that the new player influx with the BG going free didn't work as well as they intended. Just a few became real consumers who look to buy more content. They did the same with My First Pet's stuff. - EA started to pay for ads to promote the pack. With several celebrities like Millie Bobby Brown, kpop-idols, etc. When has EA needed to do that to that extent for their established franchise? If you check the EA's financial information you can see that TS4 stopped growing by the end of 2021, the base game went free in 2022, and at the end of 2023 you get the "player network has grown to more than 70 million worldwide" but, in 2024 Q1, Q2 and Q3, TS4 isn't even mentioned in the highlights like EA SPORTS games or Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. All of that plus EA disclosing Project Renee so early in its development makes me think they want to appeal to shareholders with promises of an Animal Crossing growth situation. So, more than any boycott, what works is to be loud on social media about The Sims 4 bugs, EA's misleading practices, etc. Hopefully not only The Sims 4 channels can pick on it and keep the bad press running. Hurting their brand trust is the most feasible way to make EAs change some of their practices, hopefully fix what they have already released. Because it makes shareholders scared and wanting to jump ship and sell their stocks while the price is still high. PS: Not that I think they aren't a lucrative company at the end of the day, but they certainly haven't a big growth perspective for the near future for anyone paying attention. And they need to salvage what they have till their next cycle of game releases, which seems to be around 2025.
If this were any other company I'd have hope they use AI as a tool or helping hand. I can code. I can also draw. If AI took over the boring time-wasting part of my process to help me create I'd use it BUT this is EA. We all know what EA is going to do. We all know the end results. It's one thing to use AI as a tool. It's a whole other thing when you solely rely on ONLY AI for EVERYTHING. AI should not be used for Art related work. Coding? Go for it. Gonna use an AI art generator for INSPIRATION for your own work? Go for it. But using it as a literal CRUTCH so you don't have to pay real artists is a huge moral no-no. EA have gotten really good at polishing turds and selling them as gold. It's like food brands putting "improved formula" on the label, meanwhile they have only replaced ingredients with cheaper, unhealthier ones. I for one couldn't care less if there will be a Sims 5, I'm just done. 2021 was the last time I bought any Sims 4 pack, 2022 the last time I even played. And no matter how good a new game may look, the disgusting company politics will be the same, so that's a no from me.
As an artist myself my concerns regarding generative AI are... entirely labour concerns. Technological progress will always occur and it will always go hand-in-hand with cost-cutting as long as the worker and their work are considered expendable. That technological sectors lack unionisation, or any kind of collective power for workers to demand their place in the industry, deeply exacerbates the problem. Regarding that Crystal Creations art-it very much just seems like a pre-rendered gif to me. Generative work can be very consistent, especially with inpainting, but I really don't think that is what is happening here.
Another reason why I won't play The Sims 4 anymore is because I do not care for Artificial Intelligence. I simply do not care for AI because it's not effective, it hinders people's progression, and it is bias.

Baby girl I completely agree 👏👏👏👏 sims 4 just got a whole facelift, when it became free to play and upgrade with growing together. This game is broken but it's sad I LOVE what it could be. The mode and cc have been so much fun. If they brought in all this new revenue from NEW players why not put a little respect on the the sims name. The sims 2 was left a playable fun game, the sims 3 was given so much gameplay and fan picked packs ...if they left the sims 4 in a broken state to where I just threw away ALL this money to never ever see a fix? Honestly at this point I refuse to spend any more money on EA or even playing the sims anymore, I’m considering pirating the game. It’s like they just want to spite the player base. I honestly hope people don’t buy into the sims 5 and move onto a different game. I look forwards giving paralives a chance when it comes out.
As someone who does this I highly recommend it. It’s not that hard to set up if you do it right, and you can still use mods with it, there’s no difference really. The game is definitely not worth giving EA money at this point :’D

I am honestly very scared for the future of The Sims. I honestly think they need to stick to the formula of the past games and bring back the features that Simmers enjoyed and made the franchise so beloved. I don't know much about game development, but the Sims 4 failed because of overly ambitious attempts to make it an online game and cutting corners, thus building the base game on a shaky foundation which affected future expansions. I am not against AI if it can improve the game, but I honestly want them to focus on creating a solid foundation before they discuss any of the features. These features could enhance the game, but seeing the state of the Sims 4, I don’t trust the Sims team or EA to deliver that to us. I am very disappointed that they are using AI to cut corners and stop paying their employees

Simmers need to get a class action lawsuit going. We paid good money for a product that was falsely advertised, because it does not work as advertised. Its a faulty product and EA needs to be held accountable
First thing that EA should do with an AI is to feed it with the FULL source code of The Sims4 and ask it to find and correct bugs. AI have demonstrated that they are quite well suited for that task. Start with the base game, then, each pack individually. After that, base game plus each pack in order of their release, keeping every previous pack when adding the next one. With a bit of luck, they may find and fix about 95% of the bugs in the game. My guess is that moders will make CCs with those outlets, and that there will be a mod introducing the related death. That mod should include the death of infants and toddlers.
You sound like you don’t know what you’re talking about… finding bugs in source code is actually something AI is bad at because it doesn’t know things. It will give you an answer *no matter what* and often the answer is incorrect because it has no means to validate anything. It’s based in interpolative logic-so it’s flexible enough to give you an answer to any question, but with no way to know it that answer is accurate. This is an inherent way that these systems work, so there’s no getting around it. They can only feed it more and more “data” or refine existing datasets with better annotation and hope it gets more accurate. AI is better at generating code than evaluating it in any capacity; a lot of AI-generated code has security issues for this reason.

Maneater is a pretty amazing game, I got my mom addicted to it. You play a shark on a revenge quest against a human! And then there’s Lies Of P which is supposed to be amazing, it’s giving NieR and Dark Souls vibes and you’re one of Gepetto’s marionettes and get to fight big monsters and shit. Also I don’t remember if Square Enix is still indie but Jesus Christ man Final Fantasy VII; Rebirth just made the last few days I’ve been sick with Covid not that bad bc it’s so much fun 😂

I'm pissed. I paid a LOT of money for this game, and so did many, many other players. And now, by breaking the game so badly, they're essentially stealing the game from us. If they use AI to improve Sims' behavior, that could be cool IF THEY DO IT RIGHT, but to replace workers? Hell no. Literally the biggest reason to be against AI imo is because it takes jobs from humans.

I rarely use the sims but what Ive seen so far is js sad. People are asking for outlets and eyelashes and cant even get that, let alone stable updates and bug fixes, bare minimum things. Theres so much expensive packs that shouldve just been added into the base game cause it barely adds anything except a few furniture items etc. This community deserves better

A little extra eyeliner, and they good. Some of us have become to entitled with this game, believing that every little thing we conceive should be immediately put in the game. So Simmers are Charle Brown and EA is Lucy holding the Football. I’m reminded of a West Wing clip (posted below) that illustrates this beautifully where the president’s chief of staff, Leo, takes the president to the latest test of a missile defense system. The system has never had a successful test and when Leo grabs the President to take him, the President says that Leo is like Charlie Brown and the Pentagon is like Lucy pulling the football away when he tries to kick it. The President points out that Leo just wants him to put money into the defense system but it’s never worked. As the Presidents predicts, the test does indeed fail. At this point I absolutely refuse to buy another sims pack. If Ea thinks it’s okay to continually ignore their consumers and be greedy and half make a game, I refuse to feed in to this nasty behavior, Ea does not care about the sims, not saying the sims team doesn’t but EA the company, I knew the second they bought the sims from Maxis they would drive the sims to the ground and I was right.
All my money on the sims 4 has been wasted; that's what this AI announcement tells me. I am not a fan of AI and how every tech company seems to be in lust with it, and its use is always clumsy and has negative effects on the thing it's touching. I'll keep playing my copy of the sims 4 until it breaks (it's inevitable at this point), but I will not be buying any new dlc or the sims 5. Which sucks as I've really been getting into custom content and modding recently, but man, what poor timing on my part. I hate when companies don't value their customers, their time, or their money, and EA is a prime example of such a company. Disgusting!
Having an algorithm as the CEO/ C-Suite is genius! Because the algorithm would be trained to actually use multiple variables for decision-making and not just "greed, greed, greed". Imagine if EA cared about their brand reputation again! Leave the actual workers alone and replace the suits!
AI could be used for the coding though, and maybe even for fixing the bugs, so I wouldn't be too closed too soon to the idea. It mainly depends of how it's used. If it's to make the game running more efficiently (and I'll argue that they can only do better at this point, though I wouldn't dare challenging them), then good! As everything else in life, it's a tool just like any technology is (and it's coming from a graphic designer and artist), and tools are made to apply the technical knowledge and information more quickly and efficiently. So if they manage to use it correctly, I say why not.
AI is also terrible at catching errors in code or bug testing. It simply has no means to evaluate its own answers. It doesn’t actually “know” anything; it’s just based on statistical probabilities represented by its dataset. It’s better at generating code than evaluating it, which is why AI-generated code is full of security issues. AI operates based on interpolative logic; this means it is flexible enough to answer most questions but has no means of evaluating its own responses. It will literally give a response *no matter what*
Why can’t EA bring both the Sims 1 and the Sims 2 back but with 64 bit support and a remaster for the Sims 2 as it’s nearly 20 years old. The Sims 1 should get a remake on a more modern game engine too.
There’s exactly one area that I think AI would be useful in, and that’s all the nonsense busy work managers or execs force their employees to fill out in order to boost numbers for shareholders. By all means, create an AI smart enough to log hours, fill out all the millions of “required” fields on all those work tickets sitting in development backlogs that people have to do by hand, give that time back to your employees so they can actually do their dang job!!!
I wanted to buy werewolves and ROM in this sale so bad but tbh I went back to TS3 and I've been having so much fun. I don't have all packs on 4, but I do on 3. Been doing shorter bits of TS4 but not giving them my money
the problem with AI is that the average person thinks that AI is more capable than humans. it is not. AI only uses images and writings that have already been created by a human, or really hundreds of thousands of humans, put together. AI isn't going to improve the game more than a person would, not if that person was given the time and resources to create. Companies do not want to give people time nor money, however, so eventually no one in any industry will have a job. Our economy will collapse because no one has an income to even afford these products. Companies are destroying themselves because they never look beyond the next quarters earnings.
What are their criteria for success though ??? TS4 has sold a TON of DLCs, how much more do they want ??? And it has to be sales and shareholder value, because it sure ain't quality. They could either work on TS4 and make it functional, OR focus on TS5 and/or Renée (whatever that is), but insisting on doing both (esp with less and less staff) is suicide.
when it comes to AI i don’t even care if it makes the game worse to play. it’s the lack of human passion that upsets me. why would i bother to play a game no one bothered to make?
Them using ai to help with game development wouldn't be much of an issue if they were just using it as a tool instead of replacing like the whole work force with it :^/ Using ai to help work out the bugs in animations is a good example of how they could of used it correctly
Wow, yet another reason we should boycott EA. Where were they during the Writers Strike? Were they not paying attention? Guys, it's time we start coming up with an organized boycott plan.
Always opting for the lazy option and still charging tons, how shameful. I know some Visual Novel developers that use Renpy and tried to use AI to make it write the scripting for them, and the AI still messed up and ended up causing bugs and error, cause ironically, even that still needs the humsn touch.
Glad I quit when I felt the company wasnt listening and using the fanbase 2024 drops and more and more of the compa y true colors coming put so OVer this out with the old and hope a new game comes out with a new company that gives the fans the original formula with freedom the sims made fans fall in love with ❤
omg yes my game is broken with parenthood even if i take the curfew away or delete the board from my game my teen sims still get the pop up and lose reasonability which is soo annoying..
TBH the entire Gem Pack looks very AI generated to me - the fact that most of it has looked like my pinterest feed during autum is highly suspicious to me. Also the fact that the majority of it is actually quite good and aesthetically matching; the majority of sims packs are either bleh to mediocre, with a few being good and the rare stand-out, but even in those stand-out packs there's usually a few pieces that feel sort of odd or clunky. In the gemology pack it honestly is a bit too... perfected? As in, the items are so curated and carefully selected that it doesn't really feel like a regular sims pack, it feels like whoever made the pack stole from someone's pinterest board that was very carefully curated to begin with at the very least. I think AI is quite likely though.
We can complain and express our righteous fury all we want but unless we vote with our wallets, we'll just continue being part of the problem. I refuse to be complicit in this tragedy. Boycott, pirate, or support better companies, esp small indie ones and modders.
@SimYin, I wouldn’t be opposed to AI if it were assigned to the QA/Play Testing department and it caught AND fixed bugs/glitches before they rolled out any new games or updates, as well as go through ALL of the existing games & updates and fixed those, too. Also, if EA are thinking about using AI for the Sims characters, I wouldn’t be opposed to that either. If that happens, it’s going to take me out💀, especially if Wicked Whims & their modders make CC/animations for AI.
i've seen interviews with people who do major thigns in video games and this isn't just an ea or sims thing, this is a huge thing across any and every game they are considering to use i did see a good argument someone in development have that it could only help with the really minor, tedious things but i'm not sure how to feel about it i highly doubt they'll get rid of stuff as a whole because ai still can look wonky but for little minor things that will likely be what will be happening to any and every game coming up
I can understand AI for stuff like generating fans in a huge stadium and would appreciate something more intelligent working on auto-generated townie faces and outfits, but I don't know about using AI for stuff like creating assets entirely. The teams who work on creating assets and rigs for the game are amazing and can't be replaced by something so lazy. I could support something automatically searching for coding conflicts - like the ones that cause cross-pack bugs, for instance, but that's something that's probably already being done, to some extent, and is not responsible for actually creating anything.
Its totally broken on the PS4. They changed L1/R1 which was used for rotation of objects but now it selects the top items (sledge hammer, copy) & i cant rotate a house or roof in build mode. I have to demolish everything to move it. I'm playing eco lifestyle & every time I use the fabricator it deducts money from my bank AND takes the ingredients. I'm playing with simple living & when I use canning on a stove & it deducts -25 from my bank balance twice in a row even though I'm playing SIMPLE LIVING My Sims made fruit salad & he can't eat it because he can't get to the counter. I put the food on the floor, in his inventory & in the fridge & he keeps saying he can't reach it. It's so painful to play the game now, it's completely broken & unplayable.
with AI instead of putting out new content every 4 months to break your game (and rake in cash because people keep buying them despite knowing SIMs doesn't bug test) we can make it every 3 weeks and break your game faster!
They are destroying the sims legacy. This is honestly heartbreaking to see with every single childhood game of mine. No one wants to put in effort anymore. I just want some effort 😭
Even though I like the Sims 4, I’m thinking of going scorched earth with the entire game. I haven’t played since the Infants update in March of last year, so I don’t feel I’m missing out much.
Maybe The Sims 4 might actually function properly if AI takes over. The 670 people were most likely layed off because they havent been able to get the game to work since DAY ONE
Has anyone mentioned the skylight lighting being broken, like when placing the window roof swatch? Mines been broken for months now but it seemed small fry but I am curious if anyone mentioned it? And I said Rene isnt sims5 but people keep calling it that so I was like did they walk back what they said? Cause they clear as day said Rene isnt sims5
I'm a translator - my industry is being assaulted by CEO and tech gurus who think AI can translate. It's not true. Same with games. They don't care about the end product, they care about making more money for capitalism. Reality will catch up to them, and I believe in the long run AI will be dropped or greatly reduced, like blockchain was, but for the time being all we can do is refuse to engage with products made with AI.
The ONLY AI I would ever want in a Sims game is PART of the game. NOT DEVELOPING IT. I want real humans being paid to create games, and to design the AI parts INSIDE of the game. Parts like idk maybe CAS. Random townies are actually made random via AI, even given complete backstories, jobs, relationships, and traits by the AI, and they don’t look like hot messes. Or when you start a new game, an AI gives you an entirely new world with new Sim townies, new homes off the gallery, and gives you the option to have AI create your sim family and place it on a random lot. Or an AI feature like the random swatch button on Sims 3 but instead an AI creates the random pattern and swatch for you to click through and choose. Or there could be new aspirations and whims that an AI offers you, giving more story to the sims and helping people know what to do next when they get overwhelmed by so many things to do (that all feel boring🥱 and repetitive). I do not, I REPEAT I DO NOT WANT AI CREATING VIDEO GAMES. That is stealing jobs away from game developers because of corporate greed. AI is meant to assist us, not to replace us. Let’s boycott EA’s greedy behavior until they get a conscience. #boycottEA
I genuinely hope there’s something that ends up being the nail in the coffin for the people still on the fence about completely abandoning this broken ass game (in protest) because truly nothing will make a billion dollar company listen like a loss of profit.
I'm not supportive of EA using AI for artistic purposes in TS, but perhaps certain tools could be used to help with play testing (identifying potential bugs) to flag issues for developers so they can deliver a better product instead of having humans dig through every possible situation/action combo. The system runs through things faster and once issues are flagged, the devs can spend more time working through those so there could be fewer issues on launch. AI tools could also help to root out and identify older bugs and flag those for the team. Or even help them develop possible fixes (depending on the quality of the system they'd use I assume). In short, if it's being using as a dev tool to help sort out or prevent problems, that could be a huge relief for the existing team and help them to deliver better quality product on a similar time frame to what they already follow. BUT if it's being used to cut corners as far as artistic development and fully replacing team members who could just as easily do the job, that's not ok to me. It should be used as an aid to speed up processes that are challenging/monotonous at current human speed, not as a replacement for tasks that are best taken care of by people.
the best add-ons for the Sims 4 are made not by EA but by the community. So why not stop creating those new pack and game extensions and working hard to make some software to facilitate the creation of new Mods and CCs by the community and avoid upgrades as they always cause more trouble than fix it.
Enough said, to many bugs and glitches, I have stuck by the sims franchise since day 1 when sim 1 came out way before EA had it, way before the bugs started , they started with the sims 3 , the sims 3 was never fixed it still has bugs, there's parts of it you can't play, now the sims 4 , my wedding storie's you can't plan a wedding, sims is so messed up and I have so much money in the sims, I will not be spending any , NO money on the sims 5 period.
