My family was part of that 10 member family...started in his home...pastor Evans used to work at greyhound while going to Dallas theological seminary...crystal Priscilla me and my brother grew up together...I left Dallas shortly after high school...as pastor Evans...the Word says ...tho a righteous man falls ..he shall not utterly be destroyed..God got his back...as do I...

My prayers is with this Man. We all "Fall Down". My Prayer is with this Gentleman. I believe because of him stepping down from his Pastoral Duties. I pray he will hear God, and allow him to take this time to be redeem into God. And let God do His Job, and move out of God's way. Keeping each other in prayer, which is much needed. The Bible speak about many will fall away. Yet we are to pray for each other... No one is PERFECT! Remember God does forgive, Amen 🙏 !

Actually, I respect Tony Evans even more because he checked himself through the Holy Spirit. Oftentimes, many pastors, who are caught in a sin, are too proud and arrogant to humble themselves before our Holy God. We are admonished, through scripture, that we are to check ourselves to see if we are in the faith. Tony Evans is demonstrating to the family of God what confession of sin and repentance look like. Even if our sin may not be known to others, we know what we did, and should follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. May Jesus strengthen him with all power according to his glorious might that he might have great endurance and patience. God be with Tony Evans. 🙏🏿🎚❤️

I will not stop listening to his biblical training God has given him a spiritual gift and he is a vessel used for the Kingdom! We all have sinned and I thank God he has and is acknowledging his sin and chooses to step down from his current position to seek forgiveness , repentance and restoration . The desire of the devil is to strike the shepherd and scatter the flock. We got to constantly pray for our pastors.We have God's word that the gates of hell shall not prevail. I just recently did a video on this subject as well. Tony’s my guy and has been very instrumental in my walk with Christ. But I’m glad he’s stepping down to deal with whatever’s going on. Praying for everyone involved and hoping that this doesn’t affect people who look up to him. We have to keep our eyes on Christ. God bless you sister and great video🙏🏾

I truly respect this man! Who are we to cast any stones? Who hasn't fallen short of God's Glory? If Manasseh could be redeemed by God’s love and grace, then Mr. Evans and anyone who falls short of God’s glory and truly repents can and will be redeemed also. God loved/loves us all in our mess and extends His mercy daily. Proverbs says we fall but we get back up. (Remember, a saint is just a sinner who fell down and love lifted him/her on to solid ground again. Jesus looks beyond our faults and sees our need when we acknowledge our sinfulness before Him. Let Him do His healing and restoration work in and for Mr Evans, while we search our owns hearts and ask God to show us if we have any hidden sins in our lives we do not recognise as sin that we too can seek His forgiveness and cleansing.

Also, and I know I am not the only one, I know sin is sin but not knowing exactly what happened is killing me. I sat and said "Michele, it doesn't matter", but it does. I really admire Dr. Evans and will continue to listen to his messages. Now is that just the nosey Michele surfacing, Am I just using not knowing as an excuse to dig deeper on the internet until I find the answer to what he did or is God using this to teach me whatever he has for me to learn. Ive been awake since 9 and have been focused on this since I found out. And Wendy, its your turn now cause we know God doesn't make mistakes and our internet paths crossed for a purpose. The cover up is worse than the crime in this case. That is what makes me question his spiritual standing. Come clean Dr. Evans. Why now? Why the confusion? What are you being restored from? How can can his followers pray for him when they don't know what to pray for? It's a con. It's all a con. Pray nightly for our leaders. They are human just as the members are. We all fall short of the glory of God. If he confessed his fault ( sin) to God, whatever it may be, God is willing and just to forgive, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Thank God he has enough faith and strength to step down and let God forgive and deliver him. I honor a honest person that comes clean with God, God has the final say. I feel that one of the devil's tactics is to stick the head and the congregation falls. The devil is a liar, the church that is built open the Rock will always prevail through Jesus Christ. I really like to hear him preach and will remain listening. I believe your repentance is what defines a saint. Pray for our leaders that they may be able to stand in these last and evil days!!

Whatever this guy has done doesn't affect me one way or the other. I Don't subscribe to Christianity anymore... I'm a Israelite and I believe our peoples are the people of the Bible. Why wouldn’t you not listen to him again? He is a human being and he is a man and he admit that he is sin against man and against God when he is ill and he get back, he’s the same person he he he without saying the first stone, he is a man and he’s still not preaching. He speak his truth and he step back. He is the same person when he is ill, if you don’t want to talk and call the person name who he was involved with that is Business he already talk to God nobody shouldn’t. I know this that GOD still LOVES Pastor Tony Evans and judgement is why HE, GOD is in DALLAS, TEXAS…. many works made and power plays from knowing Pastor Evans are in the SPIRIT OF TRUTH for JESUS visiting the Oak Cliff BF flock and the church ⛪️ was prepared for a “salting” and trial as He had spoken to us about for a decision from HEAVEN. I learned while attending this church that my health was attacked and GOD revealed that there was a “lie” following and I was grieved… A “lie” is a sin to “lie” is a sin and many have been found out about their “sins” and GOD has judged that’s the GLORY and I am happy to know that GOD is on this church ⛪️ to cast out those matters of “sin” as the HOLY SPIRIT had been brought to the BODY OF CHRIST so that we may LIVE and NOT die!

I don't agree with u on this one. I say let's wait to see what this "sin" is. We do not know and can not judge and yes please pray for anyone who is involved. But let's not move b4 God is finished with him. Let's not infringe on God and let this play out however it need to play out for Dr Evans. He put it in the media and made if very Grey. WE don't know what this is to forgive. God's grace is an amazing thing to have. But it is very clear that we don't know the full story of this. But what we do know is that it's big enough to have such a great man step down from a powerful ministry and release a Grey general statement. That means it's something that WILL NOT BE PALLIATABLE to the general public. He had to say it first. Now let the real truth be told. It will come out soon. Let's wait and see what this really is.

How many bloggers explain the NLP use by pastors to entrain, mesmerize and hypnotize students, employees and congregants? Very few bloggers. However, do seminaries teach pastors to use NLP techniques against the will of the people? Is God pleased by all the NLP use by pastors to gain control of people? Enjoy, then the novel! It uses a light touch to explain NLP use. Overall, the novel is quite helpful. Enjoy!

@@wendycoop Yes, of course! And yet... many, many pastors use NLP! So how did they learn it? ANSWER: By copying other pastors! And the seminaries are guilty of NOT STOPPING pastors from using NLP in order to control students, employees and congregants. For example, T.D. Jakes uses "stage hypnotism" when he on purpose stutters, and can't finish... he can't finish... HE CAN'T FINISH... (tell me now, God help me!)... HE...... CANNOT.... FINISH.... (and the crowd yells "A sentence!") Whew! Praise the Lord! God have mercy. Then... rinse and repeat. So yes, yes, yes... seminary usually teaches no NLP. Then, as soon as a pastor gets a congregation, they start practicing NLP. Consider this truism... boats leak and pastors dumb down their audience. OUCH! So, does God approve of this set up where seminaries turn a VERY BLIND EYE to the NLP use their pastors use to control people without telling them it is literally "witchcraft control?" How can God be happy with these pastors, or their seminaries? Is their a light-touch novel that explains this, and offers the path forward? Yes... "Where Do We Go Now, LORD? - Burke." Enjoy!

Hiii friend!!! You popped up on my feed! Xoxoxo I pray all is well. I actually met him at Brooklyn Tabernacle and I asked him to have a sermon on adultery and abandonment. He said he’d do it and never did. Actually out of his mouth was “abandonment “ as I had just explained to him a certain situation and couldn’t find the actual words. However, as I was standing there, I felt something not good within him. Never could shake it..and now this. 🙏🏽

Recently he began to rejoin the congregation. I was a bit surprised yet happy to see him return to worshiping. I love how the associate pastor reminds us to pray for him. That's what we should do. And to see Dr. Evans accept the prayers are ❤.

Every individual that's handling the WORD of God has a tremendous responsibility. And that goes for me to! I am a man that is without EXCUSE. If something has happened years ago the LORD JESUS CHRIST has forgiven you. No one should hold your past against you. It has to be something more than this? Wendy, help me with this one. I'm new to the Bible study world. I always thought reading the Bible was good enough but as time passed I found out that there were things that I didn't understand and for the most part wanted to deepen my relationship with God. Or shall I say, I wanted a relationship with God that just reading the bible didn't offer. Ok, so my father was a minister and therefore knew that Shepard's were held at a higher level. I saw the example in and through my dad.(he passed away in 1993 @ the young age of 48 from cancer and boy was I angry at God for that) but anyway I still didn't understand and still don;t fully understand what that higher level is. I came across a podcast this morning The Theology ... and he was speaking about Dr. Evans and him stepping down. He mentioned reading the book of Titus to get an understanding of how a Shepard/Elder/Minister etc is to carry oneself and basically the blue print of what ones life should look like. Can you help me and I'm sure some others to understand what the book of Titus is saying. And if anyone else has some input, I'd love it shared, if possible.

First, let me say I'm sorry about the passing of your father. I lost mine in 1998 and I know that can be rough.
