Yes I know. It’s a constant debate. When I rode back in the day they went under for obvious reasons. Tricks, bar rides, etc. I run them on top today because they’re show bikes. And one thing I hate is the constant banging of the cables against the bars when run under. Not to mention it increases the chances of chipping the powder against the bars. Keep in mind I’ve got other bikes that aren’t chrome. Just trying to keep them all uniform..
Bling Beauty! Just grab a dremel and blue magic and polish them levers to a mirror shine bro,easy.👍 I live the all chrome but im more of a accents guy but not this time. Only thing id do is color the GT logo in the mallet black but thats just me.
Absolutely gorgeous bike, and I was just about to say that you ran the cables correctly but...Nope! Why does hardly anyone know how to route them? In FRONT of the bars...all the cables. You even showcased a guy Dennis that had THE most beautiful collection of PFTs ever and ALL his bikes had the cables ran incorrectly. It's amazing to me to see the love but see this big miss.
It’s intentional my friend. We both know how to run the cables. Remember, these are carpet queens. We don’t want to scratch the bars. Believe me, I know they should go underneath. I rode freestyle for many years when I was younger. 👍
