Is the increase in supply this spring much higher than previous springs? That's the question to ask. As you read, BNN reported it is one of the highest on record. You guys criticize the media as being misleading. Then you pivot to say, "we all know interest rates are coming down". Do "we" know that? No we don't.

Yes, BNN reports the highest increase in listings, so it is indeed one of the highest in recent years. While there's a lot of anticipation about interest rates coming down eventually, it's unlikely to happen as soon as June or July as some have predicted. In fact, it's possible we might see rates go up again this year. From super hot sellers to balanced what do you think is next. Pay attention to the credit side. Private credit funds are tapped out and are gating. Provision for credit losses are up. And the recession didn't even hit yet. The deleveraging will be spectacular.

the air b&b just went under ground many have existing clients contacting them direct so they are yet to be full effected till cities actually crack down but at least they are not buying up more, don't see a major crash because even if your mortgage goes way up rent prices are super high now so your just stuck paying it and fighting the belt

the prices of houses are going through the roof in ontario the houses will go up 35 percent this year according to bloomberg

So much demand in this country. Also depends what type of house. Single family detached in a nice neighbourhood...always in demand. They literally don't build homes on 50x100 or more lots anymore. They're relics.

Allah will never let you flourish when you buy investment properties with mortgage. Interest is the exploitation of human being in anyway shape or form.If you have your own money buy as many as you want. But mortgaging it to appreciate it using interest money will never let you flourish.
