Going to make these bags for birthday gifts made scrunchies for friends of girls. Just started back to sewing. Your instructions are great. Thank you. Hope you others projects to make.
My granddaughter needs a bag to collect shells at the beach so I used some fabric in my stash that has sea shells on it. And I've made her a great bag. Thanks for the tutorial!!
I've been teaching myself to use a sewing machine (an old 99K singer) and this is the first thing I made! And I know almost nothing about sewing. Thank you for making it so "easy"!
I’m going to be making gift bags, some will be going to a local charity craft fair. This is a better tutorial than the others, you pick up on the need to neaten seams and finish edges 👏
Thank you for your tutorial. I think I can do that. I do a summer book club with my grandkids. This year I am creating book kits that have four to six little gifts that correspond with things happening in the book. They will open each gift at a specified page number as they read. I wanted to package them in a way that fit the topic of the book so I am making drawstring bags with fabric that fits the books theme.
Thank you for this video! I am going to be using this technique to create bags for my guest room linens, to keep them fresh and sorted from the rest of the linens so that I don't have to dig around and worry when visitors show up. Also, I can make them in pretty colors that will make me fee more organized and peaceful.
Thank you so much! I'm planning to put some of my ceramic sculptures in this kind of bag, and as a beginner at sewing I'm glad to have this tutorial to help :)
Hi! Thanks for your video! I'm an elementary music teacher and I have xylophone bars (flats and sharps) that go with specific xylophones and I'm going to make a bag for each of my older xylophones that don't have a case already so that we can keep the correct bars with the correct xylophone!
Beautiful bag and very useful. I like to learn, So I can make it for my travelling for my makeup and toothpaste toothbrush very convenient. Thank you for teaching...
Love this! I'm going to make a variety collection (birthday, holiday, baby, other celebration) and then gift those to my daughter and daughter in law for them to use as needed! And I am absolutely going to package some Christmas gifts as well:) Thank you Tara!
I am making them for Operation Christmas Child boxes. A friend is making tic-tac-toe boards and pieces out of plastic and yarn. The game will go in the bag to keep all the pieces together.
What is next size of drawstring bag that l can make made the small ones. Like to make a bigger one to carry My project when l go camping Thanks again for the tutorial. Maria
I would like to have our sewing group at my church help me to make the bags to use as "Angel Bags". We will put items in it for people who are undergoing cancer treatment so things like lip balm, travel- size lotions, ginger candies, gift cards, etc.
I'm going to make a bag to hold all my vacuum attachments. It will hang in my laundry room (near my vacuum) so I want to do it in a fun color. Thanks for tutorial!
Oh this tutorial is very nice!! Sometime in the future, since I also want to get into resin/dice making, I'd love to make matching little drawstring bags for the dice sets! I know I'd love especially to do so for sets based on a certain Homestuck character's dice (Vriska's Fluorite Octet), so I could make the dice sets and have them in their matching drawstring bags to give out to any Vriska cosplayers I may meet at a convention :3
I’m making these for homeless people. A church donates toiletries once/week and needs 20 bags per week. I’d like to have fun cotton fabrics to give to them. Thank you SO much for this easy video
You make them whatever size you want the bag to be, adding about 1½" to the top for the channel. The ones in the video are pretty small - 3 x 5, 5 x 7...
I wanted to make a bag for the eye mask. I'm making for cancer patience, going in their goodie bag my sister and I are giving for free. We also have been making breast pillows pork pillows to comfort them in the car
