The yellow ceramic bowl with the handle might be one that was handmade back in the 70’s/80’s. During that time it was very popular to make ceramic items at a ceramic store. My mother in law used to do it in the 70’s and 80’s. The writing on the bottom might be the year it was made and for who it was made for. You did great lots of great finds in your thrift trip!🦋

Good morning Kelly. 🌞 Oh goodness, that first Thrift store is ginormous!!! There is an antique store near me called Apple Barrell that I need to go check out. I love vintage items. Aw that old baby carriage is precious.

I was thinking the same thing about the ceramic bowl. I use to do ceramics years ago and loved it! Actually entered some things in a ceramic show and didn't do to bad. Got 1st place a couple times and sold some on consignment. I love stores like those. Good thing we don't live close together or we might do real damage in those stores. 😂. I am decluttering my house (after 30+ years in the same house) we have accumulated so much, but every now and then I go thrifting to replace something that I got rid of :) It's a circle. I have a GoodWill right around the corner from me - so I love checking it out. 🦋

I think most antique and privately owned thrift stores are SO expensive! I live in Ohio and we have lots of thrift stores here but most are over priced unless you really dig through things. I love going to the Goodwill Outlet and St.Vinny for the best prices.

I think it's admirable that you want to teach your kids how to tell time the way we were taught. So many things have been taken out of school curriculum these days, it's sad. Even the art of handwriting is being lost because almost everything is typed on a computer ☹️. I'm sorry I don't know how to put the blue butterfly on here, I can't seem to find it on my tablet 🫣.

Your haul is great! Rae is a little trooper! Our goodwill never has anything good. Our daughter lives in a large city. I may have to take an hour snd and a half drive one day to see if there is one there and visit my grandkids!! 🦋

So i use folgers instant coffee for ice coffee. You can find the individual packs. Also, i make my our creamer with condesed milk and evaproated milk. Its surely not sugar free but its so good!! I dont really drink anything else. It also fills me up so i have actaully lost about 6 pounds.

I love thrifting! I barely wear new clothes anymore, even though I can afford to - I just realized that I’d spend $50 on something thats $5 at the thrift store and I do feel it helps the planet too.

Love this vid hun. The first store was so cute. I kept saying wait go bk....lol. my whole house is all antiques. Most r from my parents. I grew up w a house full and we had a antique store. Yes dough bowls are very expensive. I have a few from my mom. But to buy them now no way. Always ck w the store and the dealer and they might come down in prices. I have seen private boutiques w/used items that are pricey as well. I think owners need to reconsider their pricing🤔…my personal opinion! I know they want to make money however you can have the reputation of selling reasonably and have a turnaround on items and get more people to shop and buy!👍Win-Win! I couldn’t have a thrift store I would give it all away!🤭😂 My son is a teen and has been enjoying thrifting and I go with him. Some of the items are CRAZZY!😳I look at books and gadgets! My thing! I think a tshirt should be $5 or less and they are $6 to 10 bucks!😳which I can get new for that price! My son does well when he goes. You picked up some cute things and have some great ideas for them. The clock will be fun for your son to learn and internalize the concept of telling analog time. I no longer shop Goodwill since they've changed owners.. they get the majority of their employees from halfway houses and those fresh outta rehab and pay them under minium wage somehow at least in my area ...upper east Tennessee .. they also sale brand new donated items at retail prices... I shop salvation army...
