Ive been watching y'all forever now. Symphony has grown up so much. I'm only 21, but I reminisce about being her age and going shopping with my friends and sleepovers. Symphony is turning out to be such a beautiful young lady and so happy to see it seems like she has a great group of girl-friends!

OMG! That’s so cool! Happy birthday again Symphony! I hope you have a great 13th birthday this year. I have a niece, Menna, who is the same age as Symphony’s, except she’s a month younger than Symphony’s. I also remembered when I was Symphony’s age, my mom surprised me with my 2-story house I’ve always dreamed of since I was around Josie’s age for my 13th birthday and my family and I moved there from my old 1-story house, which we loved it, especially me. We’ve been living this house for 18 years now. A year later, on my 14th birthday, I had my slumber party with some of my girlfriends from both middle school and Girl Scouts group and we had a blast! Yeah as a father I wouldn't allow any of my kids to get what they want nope my household I get to decide what you wear to school. 13 is just a number law's says your a child until 18 in certain states. Mom you have failed parenting 101 never allow a 13 year old to get whatever she wants that's being spoiled.

It is not being spoiled. It is allowing her to have her own personal style and letting her make decisions for herself. She is 13 years old, not 13 months. Your kids will grow up and despise you if all you do is control every bit of happiness in their lives. Let kids be kids, let them experiment and figure out who they want to be. If you have an opinion than you can address it appropriately, instead of acting like the grinch who hates seeing people being independent and happy.

Sure there can be limitations, but it’s good to let a kid express themselves through style. It’s quite rude to judge a parent over how they think it’s right to raise their kids, they aren’t hurting anyone, let them be.
