This is how most people think these days, and this is exactly why there are less relationships, less marriages and more single people than ever before. Because why should they bother? They are already complete, independent, strong, self-sufficient. So why get into a relationship? Relationships have gone from a necessity to a luxury. There was a time when it was two halves. The two people complementing eachother. One's weakness was the other's strength. And no, I am not talking about old-school gender roles with the women in the kitchen; What I mean is the perceived necessity of the significant other. Today, that necessity is gone. Some might blame feminism and quote the old adage that "women need men like a fish needs a bicycle", but I think the cause is deeper than that. Both men and women have realized that the only "need" for another person is intimacy and the possibility to have children. But even that is no longer a big thing, as a larger portion of people don't want children... and there are other sources for intimacy available. There is less reason to commit to anything, because you are perfectly fine on your own. The worst part is: I think it's good that people feel complete on their own, but at the same time I see the harm it's doing to lasting relationships and how that will in the long run affect society negatively. I don't have a solution to this, but I think your quote highlights one of the biggest problems with dating and relationships in the 21st century.
Men have to chase because that's how the game works. Men find a woman they like and have to pursue her and ask her out. At least admit the rules have apparently changed. I'm happy waiting for a woman to chase me but that means I'll never do on another date again.
I think it's more a matter of not chasing them right away or looking desperate by going overboard. Don't show interest right away to keep her ego in check. Then slowly throw in little hints every now and then to keep her guessing. Then eventually shock the hell out of her by asking her out randomly. Call it mind games, call it whatever, but it works. Women aren't straight forward. They're complicated
Chasing rarely works my friend. If you wanna make women turned on by you, you'd rather Pursue her instead of chasing. Pursuing a woman means not acting desperate nor needy. Just be confident to approach her in a calm and relax way.

It is also a reality that in most cases these girls who chase successful men are usually the girls whom successful men despise. Because successful men also want high value women.

It’s all bullshit, I keep reading all the same ‘advice’ about how to attract women and to get them to chase you. I have got more hobbies than I know what to do with, I’m always going out etc. It never happens. Unless you are really good looking women are not interested from the outset.
The key is to make yourself mysterious with a little more intrigue to gain their interest. When they show interest then just take it to another level of being mysterious but also personable.
Every women and situation is different, some women don't Care if you ignore them for so many reasons and other women can't stand beiing ignored especially the insecure ones because it makes them even more insecure. Allow her to teach you something. She needs to know you’re open to the fact she has a lot to offer you as well. Face it, you don’t have to be the only one that needs to bring things to the table. Let her show you things and introduce you to some adventures you might never have thought of before.

@@AB-vc7ox Depends on what a particular girl is looking for. Not all seek a serious long term relationship. Some just want to have fun with casual relationships or one-night stands or they just want male friends with benefits.
There’s a formula for this. You can’t just ignore them. But be active in things and engage with people and show your personality through encounters and situations. Never being desperate or needy, but low key be actively pursuing. They will notice you around out and about doing and becoming whether it’s revealed or known or not. You as a man have to keep moving forward regardless of what women do or don’t do. Easier said then done. Eventually you will run into someone who sees you and you will slow down your pace to let them in if it’s someone you see too. It’s a beautiful thing when two people find each other and that “seeing” takes place. But make sure you’re truly engaged in life for when that day comes. It will work in your favor. If you ignore women then they’ll ignore you back. I try to put on a friendly face and act like everything is peachy even though I’m slowly dying inside. That way at least they’ll be somewhat nice the next time I see them.
Wrong. If you ignore women they will try to get your attention. They hate being ignored and will leave their comfort zone to get into your space to get your attention. Stop putting on a friendly face. It makes you look like an inoffensive weakling. Just look like you have more important business to attend to. Imagine you are on a quest which does not include them, and act like it. They will be drawn to that.
@@dharmadasa66it’s both. I’ve ignored some women and they don’t care. Other times I’ve ignored them and they made it a goal to get my attention. Not once, twice or thrice. But numerous attempts until I look their way and halfway reciprocate. And this has happened with different women and both scenarios have happened with the same girl. Times she ignores me and I ignore her. And there have been times we try to get the others attention. I don’t really try to get hers anymore but she still does things to get mine.
All bogus advice. She said everything except "be yourself" which is the only thing you're suppose to be doing. Stop making changes to yourself to accommodate her. Of course you should improve yourself the best you possibly can but be sure to go in the direction that benefits YOU & makes YOU happy. I ignore almost all people I know and see, I just don't care anymore. I don't even know how it is to have a real friend, as I'm simply not able to make them. I'm just thankful I never wanted love relationshp anyway, and I realized I don't need friends. It means less mental stress, less mental pressure, I can do what I want when I want, I feel safer on my own. I'm never bored and lonely anyway. Also I could never keep conversation alive for more than few seconds. Maybe it's because I am autistic. Maybe I just am not interested enough in people.

18 years ago I moved somewhere I knew no one and have met more women since then by doing nothing but minding my own business and just doing my own thing than any other way. FWIW, I abandoned dating sites about ten years ago in my early 50's, after realizing the only women I ever met online were too damaged and broken to ever have a healthy relationship. It's almost impossible to avoid once you're in the over 40 segment of the population in USA. I still watch these vids just in case I run into that one in a million woman that is more interesting, more fun, and less trouble than my boat.
Hobbies best way to meet and save big money. Since I moved to mountain cabin, met many nice females on the chairlift, skiing or hiking trail in forest. Have not paid for going on a date in 7 years!
The only women the men in your audience are likely ignoring are their own mothers, especially when they're asked to get a job. A lot of these guys need more than just a bit of *reverse psychology*, as they're already being ignored themselves.

I have lived in several States and visited and lived in some 13 Spanish speaking Countries and my experience is that it’s quality vs quantity; not the other way around. You want a show dog or a bunch of sickly street mutts?!? My early years were filled with girl after girl, three in one day since I had a job and had to be there too (also three at the same time in Panamá.) Now days I just let them come to me and I pick the best personality and intelligence. I have scruples and priorities and I am always in charge of what happens even when the gal thinks she is making a decision, it will be of my choice first and foremost. Many could learn a ton from a guy like me. They don’t call me Don Juan for nothing!! I am walking proof. Lost 45 lbs and now I'm with a younger woman that is drop dead gorgeous and a genuine sweetheart. All this after six years of misery and heartache following a nightmare divorce from a selfish and manipulative woman.
I'm tired of people in general. Luckily I realized years ago I don't even need friends. I'm just not able to make them or keep people interested in me. Most people are just assholes and not trustworthy. I don't even need others around me while pursuing my hobbies at home (most on my PC). I also never feel bored and lonely. I also realize I get more and more misanthropic with every passing year (I'm absolutely fine with that). Love relationship? I'm thankful I never wanted those in my whole life.
A woman will not forget how good you treated her and didn't expect anything in return. Whether your there or not, it will fester in her mind. If you treated her like a good man does especially if she's from a toxic relationship, it will gnaw at her more because sooner or later she'll realize she had something good and womderful.

I've been ignoring women for over 20 years and I've gotten used to being alone. It's pretty hard to try and break that mindset and so many doubts pop up that get me to question is it really worth it. Some people are just ment to be alone.

I'm thankful I was never interested in love relationships and I also never had someone that could be called a real friend.
