Stop spending money on new rods, instead spend your entire peak period being towed downriver by a single fish that you can’t even keep. Makes perfect sense.
I have the creek 240 and it handles stuff on ground too. It can pull 10 pounds pretty good, it takes some time(2-3 minutes) and it gets damaged a lot but it does the job for sure.
yes I agree with you 100% is just that when people first start playing they think that they need new rods every time they level up and they end up spending all their money for new rods and later are fishing at lone star because they cant afford to buy travel ticket or license. so yeah you don't need to buy new rods... you can still use your old ones....in this video I'm using level 3 feeder that's a first available bottom rod in the game and landing beluga using this rod its not easy but its still possible.. so even with low level rod you can catch big fish.
I’m kinda in a pickle in the game. I found out about walleye at emerald lake and i can’t stop lol. I went to everglades but the price per pound is worse than emerald unless you’re catching large trophies and even then. I’ve got plenty of money to do whatever and i’m about level 23. Do i continue with missions or keep fishing and get a boat or something?
@@creamythroat i would suggest you to keep on grinding at emerald until you’re able to buy a 9kg rod then you can travel tu st croix and farm the pikes there
Lol with the new rods I could have made that catch time 15 secs and hooked 2 more before you landed that but good xp use. Just use the telescopic and quick catch method
It will go to your inventory unless you don’t have space there, than it will go to ur home storage available in world map. Keep in mind most stuff unlocks as you level up, meaning it will be available for you to purchase in the store that is also on world map. So you will have to leave the fishery to access it.

Is this after the adding pressure to the fish update tho being able to pull on the fishing causeing it to tire out which yes is now a thing before it wasnt... but also you cant do this from land only in some sort of water craft with no anchor
that took way too long to reliably farm beluga or anything over 10kg. Waste of time. Get the heaviest rods you can every single time or youre wasting money and time. Good luck grinding to level 83 like this.
@@B3GameBox bruh you should only be fishing lures from a kayak. Feeder fishing should be done from shore because you can put the rod down, and keep the bait steadier in one spot and also always having tension on the line without having to make constant adjustments.

Go to lonestar bc its free but buy the advanced license. Then go to the swampy place and stand on the bridge there and use a casting spoon to cast all the way down that area and just use the slow reel technique to reel in and youll land spotted bass. Just farm that.
Go to rocky lake with a 6’7 casting rod with 6lb test that you get from missions and use a barbless lure worth 4 tokens all trout at that area are usually 150-300 per fish if you know the spots no kayak needed
Why not buy all the rods in the game because otherwise what's the point of just saving up millions and millions of dollars to just not spend. I've always bought everything each time I level up. Just got to level 80 and I have over 7 million. Also got thousands of every type of bait in the game. So its best to use the money you make. But everything because that's it's only purpose.
some reels and rods don't go together some of them are proper spinning or casting reels if you got one equipped you wont be able to equip your match or bottom rod and vice versa... remove everything to inventory or home storage and try again hope that helps
You can buy a boat in the store for in game cash if you have required level, you can buy DLC for real money and get a boat from it, or you can rent a boat or a kayak in the fisheries that allow to use boat or kayak but you will have to pay rent for it per day.
“Stop spending on new rods”….. yup I’ll just stop playing a fishing simulator like I’m supposed too… maybe learn more about the game before giving such stupid advice. In order to progress in the game you have to upgrade ur gear and rods ITS MANDATORY. Good luck getting to the Congo and fishing it with a lvl 3-5 rod 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
