The young man who apologized for simply being excited slayed me. Makes you wonder what kind of people or negative experiences he’s had in the past that would compel him to feel as though he even needed too apologize in the first place. So very sad.

had a story here where i am from not long ago. a elderly lady at the doctors and they asked how she planned on going home and she said her mother would get here, and she was right. her mother also past 90 came and got her. amazing how "fit" some people are even in high age. my grandmother tells us that the nursing home she is in, there are a christian group that comes every week and takes them all for a walk. one of those people is an elderly, older then my grandmother and she still shows up to wheel some of the people in the nursing home around. how cracy is that. age is but a number. and truely you never stop being a parent

Small and selfless acts don't seem like much at first. But give it a couple decades...and you get moments like this. Bless his soul.

He was called The British Schindler. The world only found out about what he had done when his wife had found his notebook in the attic. His words were that he had never kept it a secret he just never told anyone. Out of the 669 kids he saved they had managed to find 250 at the time of the 1st clip which was done in the 80s. The 2nd clip was done in the same year when more of the then 250 were able to make it to the show. He stayed in contact with every single one of the 669 that were found until he passed away. There is a saying that I believe the 669 have for him. 'A man goes to Europe for a 2 week vacation and fathers 1500 or 15,000 kids.' Which are the the descendants of the 669. There is a another man who was a Japanese diplomat that was in Lithuania at the time who at the cost of his career and maybe his life disobeyed his country's orders and day and night wrote passports for up to 6 people to travel on to get out of Europe. The people called him 'Mr. Sempo' do to one of the Kanji in his name being translate to that name. He was still writing passports even when he was leaving on the train. He lost his career for that action but never regretted his actions. About 20 years later he was called to a meeting with some people. (Don't recall where the meeting was) He was met with a young man who did not know until the man called him Mr Sempo. The man was only a child when he had met Mr. Sempo and was one of the ones that was able to get out of Europe thanks to the passports. Sempo was honored in so many ways for his actions.

*105 YEAR OLD MAN* One man gambled his life to save 669 innocent children. Imagine that the average generation reproduces roughly every 20 years and sires two children. Calculating at those rates, there have be more than 40,000 souls who have lived on this earth directly due to the selflessness and heroism of this man. Let me repeat that ... *40,000 HUMAN LIVES* His name should be spoken with the highest reverence, it should be written on every wall, marked in every record of mankind. May he never be forgotten.

Caught in Provenance is the name of the judges show. He can be 'mean' or can be very nice when it comes to the ticket or the reason you are in. He had a group of collage kids on that were caught open drinking but not drunk (don't ask me on that thing) on St Patrick's day on the wrong street during a bust which was in no way the cops nor the kids fault it just happened. The judge decided that all the kids would do 5 or 10 hours community service and that was that as he and the lawyer said that drunk in public charge really didn't need to be on the record when they were all so close to graduating as well as none of the kids had put up a fight or anything when they were put in cuffs.

I had the great priveledge of knowing and befriending a beautiful lady named Helen Colin. Helen was a survivor of Auschwitz. She told me her story, and it really changed my life. When the camp was liberated, she emerged to find her entire family except one sister, had perished. Because of her multi-linguistic skills, she was recruited to supervise the ex-nazis and sympathizers as they were forced to dig up the many mass graves, and properly bury them; this was done in order to force them to see/feel/experience what they had been a party to, and so that they would understand the atrocities they had committed, or turned a blind eye to. Her whole story was just...well just more than I could imagine any person could ever survive, and just breathtakingly sad, and inspirational. She eventually immigrated to the US, with her husband, and they landed in Houston,Tx. Started a successful jewelry business, and had two daughters. She spent the rest of her life traveling the world, telling her story, and educating people, giving speeches to world leaders, children, and many others, was highly respected speaker and activist with many charities and groups that made sure the world remembered, and never forgot, with the mission of trying to make sure something like this never happened again. You can find her telling her story online, and it will move you. She passed away a few years ago...god rest her soul finally. She was a loving, witty, charming woman, with a twinkle in her eyes, and a love of all humanity...a true lady, who faced hatred and violence the likes of which we cannot imagine...yet turned that experience into a way to promote love, and tolerance, and peace. She used her pain to try and prevent others from ever knowing it themselves. She is featured in the Shoah foundation recordings done by Steven Spielberg, and a few years ago, at the opening of the new Dallas Holocaust museum, I was stunned to see her, and hear her voice in original films from the camp after liberation...she was a beautiful soul, and I hope she was reunited with her beloved family in Heaven...I know I'm a better person having known her, and the world was made better having had her in it. Look her up , and listen to her speak...the love the pain, the hope in her voice, the inspiration, will shake you. An elegant, caring lady...she is missed. And she made a difference. RIP Helen. Look down and keep guard, the world still needs you.

That Syrian meeting with young man! When I reflect on 2020 and the loss, it is NOTHING compared to what that Syrian lost (his son) and the young man with same name. The Syrian civil war has been tragic and the loss they have experienced has been tremendous. On the polar opposite and equally touching was Winton who defied loss and prompted life at great risk.
@magik2005
@magik2005 2 года назад
That wasn't just a young man with the same name, it was his lost son. The father lost track of his son (possibly during the Syrian civil war) and believed he was dead when he couldn't find him. I believe his son thought his father was lost too. Thankfully, they were reunited once again, which explains the sheer joy displayed by both Syrians. :)

That kid at 6:20 in the Lamborghini is adorable!!! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with feeling/acting like a child when happy!!! I too am the same way!!

To the cop who gave the elderly a ticket, I'd like to say to you: “How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will have been all of these.” ~George Washington Carver~

Man it always gets me about the dude who saved the kids like that was powerful and he probably never thought of it as oh I’ll be famous one day because of this, felt to me like that final look you give the lawn or field after all day working or cutting it like phew damn didn’t know I did that much

that man who saved 669 libes just imagine what that has turned into since the 40s. most likely hundreds of thousands if not millions of live. War is scary to us all but we do have a hero here.

The cop who gave a 96 year old a ticket should really get a talking to. I’d find someone to drive him and his son every two weeks to hospital.

I cried and just wanted to hug that young man who was having his first Lamborghini ride as he explained to the driver that he gets excited and "acts like a child" and so the driver should not be afraid of him - it's just the way he acts when he's excited. I cried - why would he have even thought about apologizing for getting excited and expressing his joy? Obviously, he's been picked on and belittled all his life for just being who he is. He didn't ask for this disability; he is 100% intelligent and has the normal responses to excitement that the rest of us have. He simply has a physical disability on top of that. It makes me angry that he's been put into a position over the years where he now thinks he scares people and so he should warn them about how he expresses excitement and joy. Nobody should feel like that; I hope karma comes swiftly for those people who have made fun of him. Even the car's driver was in tears as the young fellow apologized for his body movements.
