The screws are different lengths. Make a note of which screw came out of which position on the back by laying them out in the same pattern until you're ready to put the back on. Make sure you lay the laptop the same way round, with e.g. the captive screw bottom right, when you're removing and reinserting the screws.
I removed all the screws and the bottom wont come off, it is like it is glued on or something. How do I know if it is glued or I just need to apply more force on it? I dont want to snap anything. If there are any solution to either, let me know. Thx

Possuo um G814JZ-G18.i94080, qual no site oficial Asus informa que suporta apenas 32GB de memoria RAM, porem instalei 2x32gb totalizando 64gb ddr5 4800MHz CL40 (detalhe, não atualizei a BIOS para aceitar os 64gb) não quis testar outras frequência, mantive a original. Acho importante repassar essa informação já que não se encontra na internet (ao menos eu não encontrei quando precisei, tanto que tive que realizar o teste pessoalmente arriscando comprar e não funcionar). Fiquei feliz por ter dado certo, pois era uma das opções que me deixavam para trás quando fiz comparação com o Dell M18, pois este sim aceita 64gb confirmado pelo fabricante. Em fim, espero ter ajudado alguém com essa mesma dúvida.

where is the chip for mic after changing thermal paste, mic is not working how it was. do you have any idea what cause the problem or If you can let me know where is mic card or chip, I would be appreciated.

I bought a week ago. Rtx4060 with i7 13650hx one.. im suprised with overal performance and cooling system.. i never seen over 75 degrees.. most time not even 70.. that is amazing.
My 2 month old laptop was on stand by doing nothing, suddenly sparks started going out of fans and white smoke smell like a gun powder and it was dead. I sent it back to the store and wait for a reply. Something was terribly wrong with that expensive machine. It is under warranty so I am waiting to see what was wrong. Have anyone had a similar experience?

Dude i tried to remove battery head from motherboard when install it small metal piece touched next to chip and it was little spark i think i burned small chip next to battery connecting and now my laptop doesnt turn on..what should i do ?😪🤕😭😭
I installed ssd but my 3.0 usb didnt work so i thought it was because of static electric so i tried to unplug battery..after i tried to plug battery there is a small thin metal piece where you connect battery head it touched chip and battery head when i tried to push the metal thing into battery slot..
@@ilyasbuyuklu1587 Friend, you will have to take your notebook to a very good maintenance unit so that they can evaluate and replace the damaged chip. There may be a problem getting this chip.

Oof man. That sucks. What was the outcome of this I'm curious? You should have just sent it back to the warranty guys and said it stopped working and you don't know why. They charge the price of a car for these things. The least they can do is honor warranty.
@@imacomputer101 : You always remove the battery to prevent any stray unwanted voltage discharge. As for the fan, it depends on what is being replaced and whether it is in the way.
It will take 4tb ssds specifically the WD 850x 4tb. I tossed the 1tb aside and bought 2 of those... now with 8tb of storage. I would say that's more than enough.
Just bought this laptop last week and already broke down...it powers up, keyboard lights up but nothing else...screen is dark and no activity. Seems to be a problem with the motherboard. Does anybody know the PN of this motherboard or where I can buy it from?
@erickwalker11 complicated situation...in left the country where i bought it from...international warranty is useless..needed the pc asap..etc.....eventually i managed to ship it back to the original store, through a friend that was travelling and they replaced it, after some verbal fights
