I just love seeing Scout living her best life! It warms my heart so much! I think of how fortunate she was when she found you two at the RV park in Mexico! She didn't realize she won the dog lottery that day! The fall colors against the snow is beautiful! Scout was too cute with her zoomies! Pip & Pop are cute in their sweaters! Pip & Pop are your other dogs in case you're wandering who they are. lol I can never remember their names so I call them Pip & Pop (purple characters from Bear in the Big Blue House). That was my niece's favorite cartoon when she was a kid.
Aren't they adorable together?! Scout is often scared of other dogs, so it's extra sweet when she takes to one like she did with Louie. Thank you! It's finally just now all healed up!

Hi! This is sooooo great! Tim and I visited Utah and Colorado this past April, coming back from a Nebraska family reunion. We loved every minute in those states! Funny, we were planning on moving to Colorado many years ago, but just got “caught” staying in southern California. PLUS!…we used to “hate” Utah as we always had truck problems whenever we drove to or even THROUGH Utah! Now we love it (driving OUR Navion ,Lucy, makes all the difference!). Cedar City area is really beautiful, and we got snowed-on there in mid-April. Love experiencing the four seasons! Thanks again for all your hard work, expert videography, and sunny dispositions that ALWAYS make my day brighter! I always say, if you’re feeling down-in-the-dumps, watch a Newstate Nomads video! As always, love you guys, Virginia ❤️

I would have headed to warmer weather too. Utah is otherworldly in its beauty. The Agave and Cactus Park was so unique and something I’d enjoy seeing as well. In lieu of a stamp at Mojave, take a photo, minimize - print it and place in NP Passport book maybe? Unless you’re planning on going back there and can hit it the second time. Sign me up for that bucket of frozen custard any day lol. Have fun in Palm Springs! Safe travels and stay well wherever you roam.

Loved the desert botanical garden and all of the scenery. Oddly enough, we haven’t explored Utah at all - it’s on our list, but weather definitely dictates! The pups in their sweaters 🥰
Oh you'll love it when you do get a chance to explore. Both our trips there have been very quick but we have some time mapped out in 2023 to spend a few weeks there. It's amazing! The doggie sweaters melt my heart, they're so cute! 😍

Maybe I can see the replacement for the Navion in Tampa 🤷🏼♂️🤔 Utah sure looks nice and what a great camp spot. I may or may not have taken a 47 dollar hook up. Depends on if I needed to dump and get water and the weather. It’s an option. Another great video and awesome stops. I’d take the 2 lane road too 👍🏼. That’s a win 🏆

Hey James! Thanks so much! Oh, that's a great (and tricky) question! It's sort of a case by case basis honestly. For example, we just paid $70 for dry camping in California BUT there were million dollar views and it was one of those super hard to snag reservations, so we justified it by saying when will we be camped on the bluffs above the ocean again?! Haha. We would have paid the $47 if we NEEDED fresh water, to dump our tanks and it was going to be below freezing. We knew that in 24 hours we'd have the ability to refill water and dump in Hurricane, so we just opted to skip it. So I guess my point is, we don't really have a system 😂It's all situational for us!
