The government has invested billions into Da Nang, tons of new parks, sidewalks getting repaired, and even a new pier have all popped up in the last couple months alone.
I’m in danang right now and been here for 2 months and intending to stay a few months more. I love it. I can’t say I’ve ever seen the people throw rubbish on the floor in cafes before!!!
Great! I can totally see why you love it 🤩 ow no? A lot of local places have it. Nothing to complain about though. Just something different that I’m use to
Thank you friend Chai for sharing the new episode for Vietnam. I will follow you again through this part of the world, Vietnam and its charms, although the restaurants are not very clean when it comes to cleaning. ✌
Hey Chai, thanks heaps for sharing Da Nang with us. Hubby and I are travelling there next year and hopefully staying for a month or two. It was great to see the layout of the airport and atm machine locations, too. Enjoy Da Nang 😊
Nice journey and the return air fare like those throughout SE Asia most affordable champ. US$9 a night for that hotel room looks great value too mate. Good to see you back exploring one of the favourites in Da Nang and looking forward to the adventure and interesting interviews. Enjoy your time there champ!! 🤩 BIG thumbs up from me. 👍
Da Nang is the most favourite place for korean 🇰🇷 nationals, it's very touristy, lots and lots of expats there but yeah it's very beautiful place to hangout with your closed ones. I like this 20 minutes vlog chai, informative video and yes I watch you on my 65 inch Android TV 😂😂 so sometimes I forgot to comment 💬 hope more to see about Da Nang through your eyes and your channel 🏆❤ take care brother
@@Chai_Travel I like this type of video(vlog) chai as you have started from the beginning Don Mueng airport to the last Da Nang city, I wish you make more this type of content being solo sometimes it's good to hear you brother 🏆
@@iisces2953I would say no! For this time of the year, from December to end of March is winter here in Vietnam, even Danang located in Central. Temp drop from 18-28 degree celcious. I've been there last week! Have fun❤!
@Chai_Travel so july is perfect? Yay! We're so excited, hope to meet some friends!!! We're looking for a villa around 2000k a month usd and private pool. We're having a hard time getting hold of someone, though! Any recommendations?
Great video, i'd also watched a couple of your other videos of Cambodia. I'm originally born in Cambodia, now reside in the US. Never been to Vietnam, but consider visiting in the near future.
A big THUMBS UP !!!!!! I am actually looking further south. I have been in Cambodia for 15 years, now think this is the " time for a change " destination! Your have CERTAINLY helped along those lines......opinion please (if you are familiar with) Mui Ne, please?
Starting in Da Nang is the right choice. Don't go to Saigon and Hanoi when you first arrive in Vietnam, it will be much more crowded and chaotic than Da Nang and many people will certainly not like it. Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ha Long are not bad choices.
I was in Danang a couple of weeks ago and I had a fantastic time. The dragon bridge on the weekend was incredible experience and Hoi an night market unbelievable and Bana hills seemed unreal. I do have to say crossing the street anywhere in Danang is absolutely terrifying. The locals seem to have no problem walking as cars and bikes are dodging them.
Hi Chai, yup, throwing your trash/ scraps/ cans under the table is common all over at places like that, at the end of the night the tables and chairs are cleared away and the floor swept and hosed down 😅
Of course they are! How do you book hotels to SE Asia?? Any suggestion? Also I'll like to see interviews to the locals talking about their favorite food and maybe tailoring spots.
From April to end of October is not the good time to visit SEA including Vietnam because of the heat and humidity . For Danang you should go on wintertime ( from December to March )
The garbage you see on the ground in the restaurant around the 17:00 mark in the video, that use to be typical in Vietnam 10 to 20 years back just fyi. Slowly but surely things have been changing over time in terms of cleanliness but Vietnam still has a long way to go.
Danang 👌 oh yeah - great introduction & assistance video for first timers 🤩 - may I ask the name & location of the hotel pls my friend ? Well done - look forward to more ✔️👌😃👋🙏
Thanks! Haha more is coming up 😍 it’s called Star Hotel. It’s a budget hotel though and wouldn’t expect too much from it. Though it’s great value for 9usd. The location is called; Phước Mỹ
Thanks for posting this! Very informative indeed! I just watched a TIKTOK an American arriving in Vietnam just a layover to get to Korea. Immigration refused him an entry coz he didn’t have a visa but he was only there to catch his next flight. The Immigration lady told him to get to this website and he found out he just got scammed, $99 dollars for a few hours visa in Vietnam and he missed his connecting flight! So awful!
Love this channel!! I’m struggling to decide what country or better cities or town to stray between Thailand Vietnam Cambodia and Malaysia. I’m planning to study yoga personal training etc very crucial is to stay near the beach and have some English speaking international community, any raccomandation? I feel like Thailand is very like more popular but I don’t know why actually if there is a reason of government make it easier to travel in the country? Thank you !!
@@Chai_Travel any idea of best cities that have kinda already what I want so I can get a base there and then travel around I guess? Like 1 in Thailand, 1 in Vietnam, 1 in Malaysia maybe or Cambodia near the beach
Hey Chai .. What kind of camera do you use? I was trying to see in the sliding glass doors haha, but could not see. I am wondering how you get the camera to swivel (turn and move) from you to the walk ahead .. or vise versa. It's much smoother than switching an iPhione (what I have) back and forth. Thanks!
@@Chai_Travel So you just attach your IPhone to it? Did you have to practice for a bit? To get the motion and direction of the shots you were looking for? Thanks Chai. I'm gonna get one too. :)
$9 for a hotel room is insane. very affordable. Foods looks great too. I heard some of the vietnamese beach towns can be touristy tho. Let us know what you thought of the city after the visit. Stay champ!
It’s pretty good right?! 🤩 the room and hotel is a bit old but perfect for me being there solo. The city is very nice, many people to socialize. Vibes are great and not too busy, no traffic jams. Beaches are very clean (water is not super clear though). Prices of accommodation is very affordable and the food… you can get pretty much everything and it’s great quality. Only downside: traffic. Like almost everywhere in Vietnam, you have to be very alert being in traffic. I hope to show some more of Da Nang soon 😁
Yeah, it's strange. I'm in Hanoi & exchanged $ for the high bank rate over 25k Dong w/no commission at a travel agency. Don't know how they do it. Maybe speculation? The dollar was predicted to increase against the baht---the Dong also? Tks for the helpful vid. I go to Da Nang tomorrow.
Nice one mate! Thanks for sharing. Yeah it could be seen as an investment in the dollar indeed. I personally would say it’s not the best investment at the moment 😅
Nothing is ever better than brand new crisp $100 bills ,or equivalent. Old wrinkled money gets less !!😱😊 Always travel with new $! You can actually bargain for higher exchange rates.
Da Nang was on top of our list! But after watching that scam right at the airport is very discouraging! So I would have to educate myself more about Vietnam to make me comfortable enough to visit the country.
Nice Video.
You are misunderstanding. If you look closely, there are only (peanut shells, wet tissue bags, and beer cans). And this trash will be cleaned up later by staff. (Do you think staff should clean up when customers are eating)
That’s right :) I’m not seeing that as a negative thing. I’m just not use to it and I think it’s worth showing because it’s different than I’m use yo see in other parts of South East Asia 🙏 no negative vibes here
Like in every restaurant in the world. When you order chicken, you most likely get chicken. Dog is not often eaten anymore. In the county side or in special restaurants they might still serve it but it's pretty rare.
Yes it did, and afterwards I went to Viettel and was told not to buy in the airport and she showed me the details of my SIM card and I could see the date it was registered.
FYI They serve dog meat only in some specialized restaurants , not in any restaurant . Not all the Vietnamese eat that kind of meat , only a small minority of people do . Do more researches about food in VN before saying stupidity dude !
Awesome! I’ll check him out as we love to check out more of Da Nang 🤩 thanks so much Connie, I haven’t heard of him before 🤗 have a great start of the evening
