Today is day 7, our last day of the cruise! Most of the day was spent at sea, and we docked in Victoria, British Columbia, for just a few hours in the evening. It was just enough time to walk downtown and explore a bit on our last night of our cruise.

Stay tuned for more videos as well. I would not suggest Norwegian Cruise Line after this trip, and I'll be going more in depth about that in the coming weeks.

I was looking at Holland America Koningsdam ship on July 12, 2025 in an aft cabin

@@colliewollie2022 I have heard good things about them. I believe they are the oldest cruise line in Alaska. Pay attention to where it's docking. I believe Holland docks in Haines and not Skagway.

The water is much calmer in the inside passage departing from Vancouver.

Question 🙋 what happens if someone has a dui? Can they just stay on the ship if they do not want apply for “rehabilitation “ status

I am not sure. I know that entry into Canada gets tricky with this. That is definitely a question for the cruise line.

Has it truly walkable from the ship to town?

Yes, as long as you don't have a condition that makes it challenging to walk, it's very easy to get to downtown from the ship. Less than a 30 minute walk. There was a shuttle, but we didn't take it, and I am not sure if it was complimentary or not.
