Thanks again! This is another neighborhood that I’m considering. This neighborhood looks like it has everything anybody would need! It’s walkable. There are shops, restaurants, rooftop bars, nightlife, parks. 😁☀️ I can’t wait to get there at this fall to explore. Until then, your videos are really helping! ☀️🎉😊

David, congrats for all your videos. Great idea to just walk and capture sounds, I.e. not talking, no music. So one can really dive in to the real live atmosphere. SUPER !!! Also thanks for sweating for us when walking through PTY heat 😅. Top camera and sound quality (only in this and a few other videos) the camera angle makes me dizzy. When I was in Panamà my first time in 1996 I stayed at Costa Del Sol (Double Tree) at that time each room had a kitchen at $56 a night it was a great deal :) I met my wife at Tabernacle de la Fe (Sopla Dios ) We’ve been together since 1997:)

What a deceptive video! I've spent a lot of time in that area of Panama City. It's not bad, but it's not as nice as Costa Del Este or San Francisco or Punta Paitilla or Punta Pacifica. That park is nearly 100% used by Panamanians, It's a really nice park, but not frequented by FOREIGNERS. I'd be willing to bet you filmed this about 7AM on a Sunday, because on the other 6 days of the weeks it's bumper-to-bumper traffic for as long as the sun shines. And if Panamanians aren't accelerating, they are honking. You should have walked down the southern border of El Cangrejo, which is Via Espana. Every time I walk along there (between Estaciaon Argentina and Estaciaon El Carmen), all I can think is, "Don't they have power washers in the Republic of Panama? Every bit of concrete between those 2 metro stations is filthy (decades of ground-in filth) and needs a deep pressure washing. It could all be done in one night. If only they could find the water, a few pressure washers, and $30 for each of a few guys to walk about a mile each between 10PM and 6AM... If anyone has watched this video, wants to live in Panama City, and is thinking, "El Congrejo is the place for me," please investigate the 4 areas I mentioned. The big benefit of that area is the access to the metro line, which spectacular - clean, quiet, polite, safe, air conditioned, on-time, and frequent. Panama's metro is fantastic.
