Thank you, Jeff, for showing us what a room looks like at Resorts. Your last Resorts video surprised me and this one did too. I imagined the rooms being outdated and dirty, but it looked better than expected.
Like staying on the rendezvous side. Room and bathroom are bigger. I have stayed on the Ocean side that had a living room and bedroom seperate. Small but nice. Most of the restaurant like breadsticks are on the Ocean side.
Resorts is definitely somewhere I’d be considering for my next trip to AC. The roaring twenties theme is one of my favorite. It can be difficult to find videos that show what hotel tower rooms look like on the internet, so it’s great you have these videos to help inform my decision of where to stay next. Great job!
My favorite hotel I have stayed in ocean towers but I mostly stay in rendezvous tower I like the bathroom and the view better hands down this is my favorite I will be back there in April
I go to RESORTS practically two weekends per month. Very nice tour, but you should revisit because the pool area was completely gutted and with a new retractable glass dome, much more spacious than before... The new pool opened July 2022.

Never stayed at Resorts it always seemed old and dark inside but I do like the art deco vibe. The room wasn't bad at all, but that tiny bathroom not good. Wonder what the new tower rooms look like. Didn't realize that Italian restaurant was voted best casino restaurant in country. I hope you get to eat there and do a video on it. Interesting video, thanks.
Resorts is my goto for decent comps on the boardwalk I like the decor of the ocean tower rooms but I can't resist staying in the rendezvous towers bathrooms!
My God, that bathroom is super tiny! Heck, I've had larger bathrooms at Hard Rock than the size of that entire room. The Cello Bar at Capriccio wasn't bad when I went one time for Happy Hour, but I hear you that the bar and restaurant seating and service just aren't the same. I went to the Dougherty's Raw Bar last time and wasn't really impressed with the food (sliders were good, but avoid the lobster "hush puppies". Also fun fact with Resorts, it was originally called Camp Boardwalk and was used as a war hospital during WWII so besides being the first legal casino outside of Nevada, it has some military history behind it as well.
This was recorded about two weeks ago. Most hotels have not reopened their hot tubs since the beginning of COVID. Even when I was in Vegas not to long ago, most said they have no reopening date. Some however (not many) were open. Thanks for watching Scott!
I enjoyed this video. Thanks for making it. I like Resorts and think it's very under rated. I like that 1920's Great Gatsby theme to it. A very funny movie was filmed there in 1986 called Wiseguys. I also agree with you about the restaurants and that tiny bathroom in the room. I don't think I ever saw a hotel room bathroom that tiny before. I don't like the fact that they don't have a lifeguard at the pool especially since I don't know how to swim. I'm a little confused: does the no swimming alone rule only apply to kids 16 and under or everyone in general?
The no swimming alone is for everyone and most resorts have the same rule. Its never a good idea to swim alone anyway unless there is a lifeguard (but then you're not alone at that point are you!) Thanks for watching Debra!
How old are they? Nothing for kids at Resorts but just a little north on the boardwalk (easy walk) is the Showboat which is quickly becoming a family destination. If they are young and you need to stay with them, there are several bars and casual places to eat as well. You guys are getting quicker and quicker ... I think I'm making this to easy! I didn't forget about Robert. I've been in AC the past three days making videos. This video was finished prior to Robert's find. Sometimes, especially when I'm away from home, I like to get ahead of myself on videos.
