Angel can't do that bully ball against Cordoso and SC. Not to mention, she pulled Cordoso's hair later in the game and several LSU players were throwing elbows after almost every rebound. LSU loves to play physical until they face a team who will match their energy- then they flop and play victim. I still don't understand how Flau'jae didn't get thrown out after starting the fight towards the end of the game. It all starts with their trash head coach Mulkey. The team just follows her lead. I just can't stand their team even though I love to watch Van Lith and Flau'jae ball out.

The officials in this game allowed a lot of very hard contact from both teams. There were a number of very hard fouls on both teams and on many of the stars, that were not called early. The officials are responsible for controlling the game and they allowed it to get out of hand. Its happened to me as an official and it's really hard to control of you don't do it early.

The problem was that between the hard play and the mouthiness between the teams, that , I thought was what allowed the game emotionally to escalate. The closeness of the score at the end, took that escalation and , in my mind, allowed the players to feel that they were not being controlled by the officials. I blame the Referees for the blowup. As an official, and doing basketball, I've seen this happen( and been responsible for allowing it to escalate out of control).

The problem with your assessment is they allowed lots of pushing all game by both teams. They never call that in the men's game, and she was playing against a manlike player. The refs didn't call the game fairly and that's what caused the brawl at the end. When BG played in college, they allowed players to get away with much more than that.
