Love The Attitude my Man!!! We need People like yourself at a Dealership. I don't know what your Goals are but you have a very Positive Attitude towards this Industry!!! Good Luck on your Path! Toyota Dealership Technician 18yrs Master Technician
@@killjoytheclown9970 Yes start their and move up! Because unless you went to school a dealership probably won't hire you! So if you start a jiffy they will look into you since you would have some sort of experience! But go try a dealership as well you may get lucky!
I just started working at jiffy lube about a week ago, they finally put me on the floor this weekend and I've never done this line of work before, so I was a little nervous I'm still trying to process everything. Did make a mistake the other day, but now I made sure that I didn't do it again was on super tight lol i was like whoops 😅 😬 I'm on upper bay right now.
@@ulisesherrera18 The underhanded things that they pull is bad and you cant say or do anything about it because you need your job. I've seen customers pay for syn and get conventional poured into a syn bottle for the customer to think they get the real thing. Passed up a lot for promotions (even though I had the highest review under the store manager) because the manager wanted to give the promotion to a guy there that he played battlefield with. Thats just starters bro. If I was you I wouldn't worry about JL and I would go to the dealership. They pay way more and you can move up into a shop tech making way more than you would ever make at a JL. Im a shop tech and I make $45 just something to think about.
Jiffy wants to do more service stuff for cars, but I rly hope they don’t for the reputation they have for being crappy. I work there & I don’t trust em. Only the dealer, my local shop, or doin it myself.
Yea I just got a job there I'm starting tomorrow he said they're gonna send me down stairs but yea I don't trust jiffy lube what so ever they messed my mom's car up and she kept going there and they put some weird random liquid in the power steering pump and broke it
Is it possible to get scam much you feel if I got my differential in my front differential changed but how do I know for sure it was changed you work at Jiffy Lube any advice
Each Jiffy Lube can be a hit and miss. Some places will up-sell anything and everything, skip services and don't care. Sometimes you'll be lucky to find a good jiffy lube but there are good ones out there.
It's a oil change dude take off the oil filter and unscrew the drain plug then put the new filter and drain plug back on nd fill it up with oil who cant do that? Everybody gotta start from somewhere dude so why you on that bitch shit?
@@davidsmith5201 Hmmm a well rounded shop/dealership will even have master techs doing oil change, but yes everyone does need to start somewhere so i agree!
I took rop auto motive class in high school for my sophomore, junior, and senior year all they thought us where the basics oil changes are easy I felt dumb asf for taking auto motive for 2 years in high school bc they just showed us the basiscs that were easy as cheese until my senior year in my advance class was when I actually liked it when they showed us to take a whole engine apart and rebuild it I feel I learned more my senior year in auto that my fist 2 years in it bc we technically rebuiled a whole sand buggy from scratch like if it a project build
