I love this style of box and what you've done is magnificent! I already ordered some Australian floetrol and I will be ordering the Amsterdam paints. Here's my sticking point. I won't shop at Hobby Lobby. Do you have a secondary supplier you know of for the jewelry boxes?
@@teresaavalon171Unfortunately, only Hobby Lobby sells this design. I have searched everywhere. It is made for them. I love HL, so I bought a bunch, but I understand everyone has their preferences. The only one similar had a taller, rounder body, and a smaller lid. I thought it looked weird. lol
@michellingoutcoin5269 I'm kind of crazy about them, too. But I'm not quite ready to break a 30 year boycott over one item, even though it is perfection. If it's made for them, then I need to find out who makes them and then try to get a bulk order. There are only a few businesses I dislike as much as Hobby Lobby. Hate Chicken, I mean Chick-fil-A. But in this year of all years, breaking that longstanding boycott seems especially egregious.
Thank you Tammy for the inspiration. Sold 2 out of 4 at my first craft fair. $24 for both. A question however …. I taped the backs. Made sure the tape was tight. Paint got in anyway. Lots of work getting it all off. What do the under sides of the lids on yours. What do you do about getting it off. Elmers glue? Latex (mine goes on real thin). Appreciate your time. You are a favorite of mine to follow.
Hi. These are amazing! I am so glad i stumbled across your channel. I have spent many full days watching your videos (instead of whatever I’m supposed to be doing 😬) I think I am confused with this technique. So for these boxes you did the acrylic pour first, which is acrylic color + mixing medium, but no flowtrol color. Let it dry. Then do the colored resin (color + resin) pour. This is where I am confused: where did the lacing come from when you used the gold and white in the top layers? I mean…why did the gold color and white color create lacing when you used the heat gun? Thanks!

Also should the base coat always be the same consistency as the colors on all different types of pours? Tammy, where do you recommend to buy the tiny what-nots to put in resin… specifically things small enough to go into dominos? What section of the craft store?
On your previous video you used several pours with the black paint etc. can you do similar by using this new way. I am a newby 1st time and really like the other designs but only want to do a few for my grand kids and daughters.

Very beautiful 😍 In the very beginning, did anyone else see the orange butterfly 🦋 peeking out on the middle box? Or the little owl hiding on the right hand box? Those ones would be fun to extenuate and make them pop out more. Box #2 looked like a foamy beach ⛱️ to me withthe white and gold. I think I would have popped an umbrella and a towel/chair on it and maybe a beach ball. Everything turned out beautiful, Tammy. Thanks for sharing and rekindling my inspiration ❤️
