Thanks for information in this video. 😊 Did you have to pay stamp duty? And is that covered in the bridge loan?

Hi yes I did have to pay stamp duty on this property, this was not covered by the bridge loan. I paid it to the solicitor as part of their fees. Thanks for commenting! 😊

Interesting. Heard of Bridging loans but not heard of a bridge to let loan. Is there a time limit on how long you can have the bridge before it moves over to the buy to let mortgage?
@sapphirepropertyinvestments
Hi Yes there is! you essentially get approved for both stages at the same time, the lender will ask for a programme of works then agree on your estimates and in my case decide agree a time period (6 months or 12months depending on your circumstances) for the project to be completed. You need to complete the works and have a valuation carried out to go into the second stage (buy to let stage) before your offer expires on the BTL offer. That’s why I see it as a 2 stage process. That’s essentially how the process worked for me…! 😎

Hi I paid 25% deposit on my bridge to let. A good mortgage broker should be able to run through everything with you! My broker is good and her details are in the description box for most of my videos! 😊
