Thank you, I was literally crying thinking my cat has Mastitis bc the internet said. But her milk doesn’t smell bad so I will keep milking her till she isn’t so swollen anymore 🥹
My cat meows when she is feeding the kittens it’s her first litter. Her niples are fine but she meows when we go near her .. call her she meows more than before.. plus the newborn are only 5days old
@@Meowgical trust me, I care for her more than any other pets I own. I wouldn't even have searched for this if I didn't. And yes, I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow (: this video of yours gave me some ray of hope that she'll be alright.
A stray in my neighborhood had her kittens on my porch. We have been feeding her and watching her for weeks. We decided to bring her and her babies inside where they are safe. I just noticed that her breast are really hard and only alitle bit will come out of a few breast. I started to notice this happening about 2 days before she gave birth. I just thought Milk was getting ready for when the babies came. I can definitely tell now that she is maybe clogged up or something. She only had 2 babies and they were born yesterday. Can you please give me some advice on how to help her. I got a wet warm wash cloth and kept putting it on her stomach and rubbing her belly. I also put a pet heating pad under her bed to maybe help loosen her breast up. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.
You should consult a vet anyway as I'm not. For starters you need to desinfect the wound daily and use a postoperative blanket or a collar to avoid overlicking and opening it again. The fact she opened it says it disturbs her a lot.
Plz help ,I have outdoor stray kitten she is still a kitten herself I think 8-9montj could be less, she gave birth to 2kitten one was weak or died so she eat that one but the other kitten is healthy and breathing but since then i think she is not feeding that kitten i tried pressing her tits all of them no sign of any milk but the alone kitten is also not making any noice for food so here im worried i think she dont have milk yet
Use camphor oil compresses on the breasts for 20 minutes and then wash it away. Repeat 2 times a day for 3 days. It's pretty common where I live, however, I don't know if you have it in your country. Otherwise, you can use cabbage leaves compresses. Use meat tenderizer on the cabbage leaves and put leaves on the breasts for 20 minutes 3 times a day till there are no symptoms. I advise you to get vet help anyway because it's a serious condition that can cause fatality if not treated properly.
