it’s way to many knee injuries it’s so scary for them, i cant imagine how they feel. im currently dealing with a bad knee injury of my own and i just hate seeing uconn especially dealing with so many knee injuries.

I am a life fan of Huskies. I have seen a lot of Huskies players serious injuried especially knee in the past. I think it needs to be addressed. Geno seems to Ignore the importance of strengthing their knees.

Of course Geno ignores the strengthening of the knees. What an ignorant assessment! Knee injuries have plagued women's basketball for years. Everything has been studied as to why. Every preventive measure has been taken. It is what it is... Hoping for the best for Aubrey

i think the optics are bad. whether the strength and conditioning program is at fault or not. A change needs to be made. Geno and UConn need to make a change. Can't have any more injuries under the watch of the current strength and conditioning team.

@@TheDisruptiveOneagree! We have to change something… whether the training methodology.. or too much overuse in practices.. or maybe let them all wear different shoes. Shoes play a HUGE role in your body mechanics and I’ve never understood why teams have their players wear identical shoes. Different brands and styles fit differently and everyone has different needs.

Time to ask the perennial question: where is the best Uconn team, on the floor or at the end of the bench? On the bench we have Fudd, Ducharme, Griffin, Patterson, and El Afry. On the floor we have Bueckers, Muhl, Edwards, Shade and Arnold.

@@kendraehiers8332 it’s the strength and conditioning job to be on the coach page when it comes to that and it seems like both is on a different page. Ever since they hired their strength coach back in 21 the injuries got worse.

I most certainly agree. I made a very similar comment on another post when Azzi went down. I do understand that in quite a few cases that once the ACL MCL bug visits you, they like to make return trips. ACL took my daughter down just before her senior year and understanding statistics and the rehab she had to endure to get back into everyday abilities and topping it off with trying to get back into game playing shape; she decided to just focus on her degree at that point. But ACL and MCL must be earning a degree at UCONN or they got the strength and conditioning coach on payroll cause it's just crazy.

I’m sorry but UCONN feels cursed to me…..first Azzi, now Aubrey and it’s happened plenty of times before. There’s something off about this team….they have amazing players but there’s something in the air that’s causing them to keep getting injured players.

This is happening too often at the same school to be a coincidence. There's a flaw somewhere in Uconn's fitness and training program that's contributing.
