I struggle to believe this is a robot. I think this is a text to speech service on the other end or somebody talking and then the robot repeating it on the other end.

It a VR tracker. The robots volume peaks at points (eg 21:22) when the actor gets too loud for the microphone.

I agree simple did this with smash bros it’s definitely not a robot it’s a human because some of the speech and reaction to things and questions are not really how a robot would react but it’s good content for viewing value

This reminds me of a video clip someone posted in the Mario kart tour discord a while ago, that had some cute anime looking girl in the corner with a chat of some description above it, and the game on screen was some sort of survival horror game, and it was like the cute anime girl was playing the game. It looked to me like a real person was talking through an ai that looked like a cute anime girl, with some text to speech or some other function. thats the general vibe, i'm getting from watching this video.

Not sure exactly your talking about but check your controller is not drifting and make sure you haven't remapped anything because that might happen.
