After seeing the difference between the AI generated nightmare fuel and Rebekah's amazing artwork, I can 100% say that AI is not taking over artists anytime soon.
Yes, but I think Rebecca should try other ai generators, there's one specifically focused on anime art generation and its pretty darn good, only though it costs some money, it's called NovelAI Image generation

Have you heard about Midjourney? That AI is still a beta version but I was able to create sick fantasy art from it, as an artist I felt threatened but I loved the result.
Just use waifu diffusion for anime or novel AI for anime. Anime artists are far from being safe. Novel AI is easily better than all of beginner artists.
Great that you did exactly what I tell artists they should use this technology for … creating references/concepts in a few clicks and then create creative liberty to make the final product unique

It actually looks less stiff now! I really love how you dont see a lot of difference between your usual art but that it just doesn’t look stiff but still really clean

Ai is scary. I remember testing some Ai website to generate pictures bc I had no drawing skills but when I wanted to generate some human drawing it was scary... The worst nigtmare. And your art looks WAY CLEANER than Ai generated. Ai generated art is so freakin blurry and scary :/ That's why I'm teaching to draw and you gave me a motivation and inspiration TYSM
The first character looks like a new protagonist for a 2012 RPG horror game. Ib, Mad Father, Yume Nikki, Misao, The Witch's House, they all have little girl protags and for some reason the first girl just RADIATES little girl horror protagonist.

Ahh! This video was such a joy in so many different ways!! I think that the art turned out so so so pretty. The girl looks so cute and I love the purple flowers! At first I didn’t understand what you meant by digital painting since it did look similar, but then you showed merging the layers and going over the lines. I do want to try that but I don’t trust myself with it lol
All the art came out amazing! you're such a talented artist!!!! and personally I like your line art but I also like your digital painting and honestly I like anything you do so yeah lol
But to be honest, this helps me sometimes to find inspirations on what pose to draw and perspective it has. Scrolling down Pinterest is a hassle and it even sometimes take all day to find that specific pose

I used to think that AI is pretty cool and nt gonna lie I've used it twice for fun. My dad told me although AI could create images, it's hard to replicate human's natural creativity. You draw another amazing drawing, love you and your art😍💕❤
Your art is so incredible! Like others have said before, If you like your line art theni say draw your line art. Your art is your style because its yours and honestly, if you saw your art from a point of view where it wasnt your art i dont think you would see anything wrong. I cant! This video is quite interesting, As you did not talk about your hatred towards AI. Now this makes a lot a sense as AI cannot come to the level of creativity that human's have. Coming to a different topic I would like to talk about something that is fascinating to me, is that you use 3 to 4 layers of line art but I just make the sketch and colour over it. Also a tip I have is that don't shade your hair as individual strands but thing of it as blobs of hair.

I've been watching your videos for a while, and I love your content, but when you had to spin to choose between the character being a boy or a girl, I realized I don't see you drawing non-binary characters a lot, so as a sugestion, maybe you could try drawing more nb characters? as an afeminine kitty, i'd feel represented

Kinda cool seeing that Rebecca didn't really showing hatred towards the AI, since many artist actually hate them and scared of them, but let's just say, the AI still can't fight humans creativity so yeah, maybe we weren't really need to be scared with the AI XD
AI art is literally just stealing a bunch of art and Frankensteining it together. Of course artists hate it, hell just recently a bunch of these “””artists””” stole the work of a very recently deceased artists to “honor him and get free commissions”. It was funny with the Dall-e thing, but now it’s just gotten out of hand...
many artist's, including myself hate them for a reason, they're souless and often times they would get more recognition than actual artists. digital artists are often told that it's not "real" art but now that ai art is becoming a trend it shows just how hypocritical they are.
Ai are really helpful for people who want art creates but can't pay or do not want to pay for commissions. I want a book with art and I was unsure how to go about it I thought that I would have to may hundreds until I heard of AI art
Omg congrats for you and your boyfriend!!! 💖 And I agree with everything you said about AI art! Even back when it was still kind a novel concept I thought that it was cool in theory but my biggest concern was that this art being generated in a specific style had to come from someone, whose work was almost definitely being handed out without their knowledge or consent. I really appreciate your approach to basically use this as a kind of redraw/DTIYS challenge instead of using the software to outright create art that you don't have to draw for yourself (although the fact that you're using Dall-E Mini would make that kind of impossible anyway lol) I actually did a similar video to this a few months ago and even though I wanted to make a second part for it I was scared to do so because of how contentious a topic AI art is, but now this is giving me more confidence to try again As for your lineart concerns, for me personally I think it comes from the smooth/clean strokes looking more mechanical? Maybe you could play around with different inking styles or brushes that have more texture and line variation and making thicker lines ╰( ･ ᗜ ･ )
