The one talking about "famine mode", I really can't believe the audacity. I used to be anorexic, I used to not eat for the entire day and yes, it was consuming but I still managed to work, study and live my life. She's here talking about just a minor calorie deficit and what she calls "famine mode" is probably just her body being like "hey I didn't get my 6000 usual calories today, what's up?" The lack of self awareness is astonishing

Yeah, its all nonsense. I like to do fasts occasionally and have been working my way up to 40 day fasts for religious reasons. There is no such thing as famine mode. It's just like people saying they barely eat and can't lose weight. I'm like, well thats strange, since I have done a few 21+ day water fasts and when I averaged out the weight loss over that time it came out to about 1 pound a day.

Calorie defecits are not hard at all not eating in between meals and substituting sugary snacks for fruits isn't impossible ive been on calorie defecit for months now (with excersise) and i feel and look 10x better

Um, if your body is screaming that it's starving when you're not, you need to see a doctor. That could be hormones or something wrong with your gut. OR you are screaming at yourself to eat cos you're greedy and you've convinced yourself your body is doing it. BTW the lady at 3:04 wasn't that bad. At least she was moving around and looked happy.

famine mode as she calls it (i call it starvation mode) doesn't occur unless you go 24 hours without eating if you can't go all day without food and it's been less than 24 hours it's sugar withdrawl symptoms (btw nobody go 24 hours without food unless you absolutely have to i've been there and it's not fun) i'd suggest anyone experiencing sugar withdrawl to get diagnosed for diabetes not every fat person has it ofc but if you think you're in starvation mode less than 24 hours after you last ate i promise you it's probably diabetes or some other condition that causes sugar withdrawl
