@@JamesMathison1 It is spelt Yorubas, and this behavior is not peculiar to the Yorubas alone. It is more of a southern Nigerian thing. Well, excluding the Urhobos who are always ready for a throwdown. 😅
Followed by; "I'm warning you oh, I don't want to injure you. Just respect your self". An average Nigerian has used these words at least 10,000 times. I love my country people.😂
It always starts with the advice or warning. It's common courtesy. "I'm talking calmly now and you won't listen, when it starts don't say I didn't warn you o."
Growing up I had 2 or 3 Nigerian neighbors and they're f****** hilarious every time they argued. Because of that I learned to argue the same way they do and people hate me for spitting out facts and being respectful well arguing with them. If I ever see them again I hope I can hug them and say "thank you cuz you taught me one thing and that is to argue respectfully not physically."
Me who didn't want things to get physical always knew I had to do it with words. Mainly because I was the skinny kid and I would not be able to win the fight. I was a great runner tho. Now as an adult I just often get called to be the mediator
@@Prince.M00NBEAMLol. Same here. I’ve never been in an actual physical fight. I used words to avoid them when I was younger and now I’m too old to be fighting anyone unless I start doing it professionally….and I’m not about to do that either😂
That is so true. I saw two girls go off at each other. I was even worried to walk too close because the one was cross, the other calmed her down like aaah aaah it's OK now! 5 minutes later they were discussing diner
we don't go off and start breaking things or attacking people ...we have good emotional control....Naa...we will finish your with sarcasm..🤣even from.a distance
YOOO that's facts, i wish i had that goddamn emotional control 😂😂😂 i worked with a lot of people from Nigeria and Ghana and they were really on top of BS and snipped it in the butt asap
Omg I watch nothing but Nigerian movies. And yes is so true when they fight is the cutest funniest thing ever 😂😂😂😂 and I love it when one say to whom they are fighting with please wait I’m coming then he goes inside the house only to come back with that long knife hitting the floor with it make a loud noise 😂😂😂 omg that kills me every time
Yeeesssss!😂😂 Machetes and Dane guns always follow when they run in and come out...the other party runs away, then they shout..."noooo wait now! Why are you running?"😂😂
@@shaaperamakepeace6375 😂😂😂😂 My dear I watch them so much. I aware now I talk like them especially when I’m upset 😂😂😂 I use the same words they use whenever they’re upset. My husband and family always asked what did you say? I tell them that is for me to know and for you to wonder 😅😅😅😅 they get so mad lol
Nigerians live next door. They look absolutely gorgeous 😍. They dress like royalty and have the most beautiful dark black skin. They are amazingly ethereal yet still very strong people. The men are the best husband's and father's. ❤️
If I were you Do you know who I am Mind yourself o Respect yourself I’m warning you Do you know who I am . In that order Then they proceed to walk out and do absolutely nothing 😂😂😂
@@GypsyWONdeRsI have seen your comments twice trying so hard to disparage Nigerians. You might have had experiences with some doesn’t mean you should generalize. I/people around me have had some unpleasant experiences with people of other race/tribes but I’ll never generalize cause I might miss out in a beautiful experience. I am Nigerian and well traveled.
The amount of times I've seen this happen... It's especially funny when the aunties are the ones 'fighting' and you just hear the jingle of the bracelets as they do the hand clap-slide thing like they're dusting off their hands from the other person's madness while giving their 'advice'. One of the best line openers I've heard were 'You know you are my friend now, I will not steer you wrong'.
I can honestly say that Nigerians are the most animated, hilariously funny people you will ever meet without them even trying .No other people group on this planet compares to them period.
Don’t forget the “Oh” after sentences when they are mad my ex used to get mad me because I laughed Imagine being in a argument and he just sucks his teeth they say some something something oh something I’m looking at him trying not to laugh 😂😂😂😂 good times and he was a cool guy
Yvonne Orji making Nigerians proud. Watched your movie "Vacation Friends" like a million times, and I still laugh so hard whenever I watch it. Love you girl.
As a Nigerian, my little cousin told his opponent: My Cousin: "Do you know that if I land a punch on your jaw your mother won't be happy throughout this year? Okay na, better respect yourself else I'll break your jaw with one punch." Opponent was like: "Do you know me?" My Cousin: "Yes, you're just a baby of yesterday. One more word from you then you'll know the difference between a senior man and a spoiled brat." Opponent: [shakes his head deliberately and breathes deep and fast while standing quietly] End of story Lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Bruh, black people sold each other as slaves to the white people. Never in the entirety of human existence has any group of people ever been about peace and love. We have to put effort in to be peaceful and loving, because it's not exactly in our nature. Humans are just animals, and animal nature is brutal.
I am Nigerian too. I am biracial but the black side of me is Nigerian and Ghanaian. I do not physically assault people. I fight just like this. And this is before i knew my dna & got a dna test. I am exactly like this. I never touched no one in a harmful way my whole life
🤣🤣🤣🤣 The fight is verbal! By the time a Nigerian (especially Yoruba) opens up verbal fire, take cover because the level of curses and or abuse that will begin raining down. Those words cut like 2 pieces and upper cuts! 😭 Mad o!
This is another phrase we Nigerians 🇳🇬 use; "My Friend you better get out of here before I decent on you now". 🕺That means is about to go down if you step back.
I've always wondered about the flying fisticuffs on American reality shows. Before blows start flying in Nigeria, you know they've been beefing for years. But you see that talk? Oh, you gon hear EEEETTTT!!! LMAO. Olympic level roasting.
Those reality shows are not real. Producers tell people on those shows to play up situations. The situations are based in reality, but their reactions are not - and many of the "beefs" are invented purely for entertainment. So during a disagreement, someone might be more rude or obnoxious than they normally would be so that they can get a big reaction out of the other person. It's all contrived.
@@anyaw340 how can you say that it’s not real? 😂 I have seen all the shows and those women get really mad, fight and even send sieze and desist letters. How can it not be real?
I lived next to a Nigerian in an apartment once.. Nicest guy I ever met..Didn't drink or cuss and played ping pong outside the unit on the weekends..But every Sunday and till this day I don't know what his wife cooked that had the whole place smelling like a big woman's Crocs but they love it.. 😂
But it tastes sooo good though. You know smelly food tastes the best lol. I've had a lot of strong-smelling foods from different cultures and they're the foods that taste the most 😋 delicious!!! So don't knock it till you've tried it.
