Back LIVE again tomorrow & EVERY Thursday evening 8pm (UK time) 👉🏾 tempted to head out Friday daytime to film some content in this glorious sun ☀️…any suggestions on a video you’d like me to film⁉️🍻 cheers everyone ⚽️
The locker rooms look so simple because the players are deliberately not supposed to feel comfortable in there. This has to do with the history of the Ruhr area (industry, coal mining). In this way, the players should internalize that hard work (like the miners used to do) is important.
I’m loving these videos that you’re doing of the Bundesliga …Loved yesterday’s tour of my team Borussia Moenchengladbach…. fair play to you with the driving and touring around .. I was over in Germany in the RAF for 5 years and also working in Hamburg Airport for 2 years … Incidentally if you’re ever in Hamburg you have to visit Minature Wonderland…. and also St Pauli and HSV ….This Is Brian … Hope to meet up with you one day .. I visit football grounds in the uk .. trying to visit all 92 in between watching Borussia …🇩🇪
An cool video and definitely bucket list stuff seeing dortmunds stadium for football fans!!! 🤩 Being an Aussie I live too far away to be able to see it unfortunately
Absolutely love Dortmund. Change rooms shite which is a bit weird. Great stadium tour though. Classic stadium and the Yellow Wall is iconic. Superb job sir.
The changing rooms do look like this, because the club wants their players to be always reminded of their past decades. It‘s a club founded by hard working men in the coal mining era of Dortmund and that‘s what they want their players to always be reminded to. You should take a look at the changing rooms of their opponents, they are much worse 😅 They’ll always tell you the story of Christiano Ronaldo and his reaction to that crap hole. Greetings from Germany
@@Hoemmi09 paying homage to the hard working people of Dortmund is not only inspiring but is a great insight to other followers of Dortmund that would not have known that. Let’s hope they beat Madrid. 👍 all the best from Australia 🇦🇺
Absolutely top video again Ry. It's one impressive stadium and it's also got the character that too many modern day stadiums haven't. To witness the yellow wall has got to be a bucket list event.
No chance..it holds 65k seats when they convert the terraces to seats so unless there building to the clouds an old ground like that would never hold that many seats Even modern grounds have never attempted anything like that probably not possible the higher you go up the more and more steel and concrete you need also the less the seats are worth for the poor view if your selling seats in the clouds there worth 🥜 compared to close to the pitch and cost 100x as much to build making it pointless as a business proposition The 5 largest seated stadiums in the world are all around 107-102k shows that it is infeasible to go much higher (American football stadiums) Only 2 stadiums are bigger than that 1 is in north Korea so I wouldn't trust there numbers or there safety lol from lying billy 🦬💩 the other is a cricket stadium that is terraced and obviously cricket is not played in the same space as football it's has a smaller square field footprint to football and American football Unfortunately with TV they is no reason to try to make a 150k stadium when u can just stop at 100k and sell millions of digital seats on tv Barcelona have spent more than a billion euros just to increase there capacity from 99k to 105k ino they have done a full renovation but even when they was planning on just doing the increased seating it was looking at costing them 500mil making it the most expensive seating expansion in the world €83,000 per seat u think that will ever pay for itself unlikely that's why they went for the full refurb If they sold out every home game in la liga game on that top tier for 30euros it would take them 146 seasons to pay for the renovation so in 2170 it might have paid for itself 🤔
Hey my friend. Thank you for visiting Westfalen Stadion, do not use another Name. One thing as a reminder. Every homegame of Borussia Dortmund is sold out every season
Me & boy stood in the yellow wall in December against RB. It was madness packed out one & a half before KO. Drinking pints 🍻 at was an amazing experience, you have to do it. We also did the stadium tour 👍
German fans tend to get into the ground a lot earlier than we do before kick off 😁 unfortunately with the channel, the Ultras wouldn’t take too kindly to filming lol
As a lifelong kopite(LFC) supporter I really enjoyed this but not just due to Klopp connection and last game .Back in 1987-1990 I was based in dortmund in the army, pity you didn’t go to their training ground it’s on my old army barracks.back in my army days we could go and watch them play ,Napier Barracks, Brackel - Dortmund, Germany. BFPO 20.Royal Artillery Regiments and supporting units until its closure in 1995. Finally becoming home to football training pitches to BVB 09 Borussia Dortmund .
Great Video. For your next visit in Dortmund. There is the Deutsches Fußballmuseum near the Dortmund Hauptbahnhof (main station). Its a nice museum with alot of stuff from the whole german football world.
100% will be going there next time 😊 I filmed a video at the English one a month or so ago, but ran out of time whilst in Germany 👎🏾 will be back at the start of next season - unfortunately not for the Euros 😭
Are you mental or as delusional as you have to be as a spurs fan? I am Bayern Fan and have to admit this is the best Stand in all top 5 leauges. But 75% of stadiums in the top3 GErman leauges have better atmosphere than spurs, let alone any english stadium
Sorry, but you don´t have stands in England. Even if you are standing during the game, you still pay for seating. Real standing, this is possible in Germany. In reality, 10000 seats are equal to around 20.000 standing places. Because seating has 0,5m distance plus atleast 60cm or 80cm broad steps. When standing, this is halved.
