Hay Damon, if your finding amalgam gold it amazes me how much earlier miners lost in gold after they found it. Thanks much for the video.

They burned the mercury off into the atmosphere after they recovered their gold and it rained mercury back into the river. It later amalgamated with gold again as it accumulated with the other heavies.

I saw the same method at a buddy in Thuringia/DE. Heck, he had exactly the same finds in bedrock. Nice nuggets. Me with my sluice next to it only had fly poop. Studying bedrock is becoming more and more interesting to me. Thanks, pal ⚒👍🤠
