Im a lunch lady at an elementary school, roasted chick peas are something we do for our salad bar, we use a savory seasoning for them, and we do cinnamon sugar ones and serve them with our breakfasts. The kids really like them.
Gosh I wish I could get my teen to watch your videos. I know she would like your salads if she saw how you made them. They look nice and hearty while still being cold and crisp. Thank you for the ideas.
Hi Jen, I want to try them all! Seriously, they all look amazing. The lemon ricotta asparagus salad is so different but sounds so good! Have a great Sunday! 🥰♥
This video came out just in time! It's over 100 degrees where I live, and my husband and I have been living on salads bc it's too hot to eat. I can't wait to try these!
A new Jen Chapin video on Friday night, yes please!!! I look forward to every video even tho I can't eat many of the recipes she shares. I try to make them with items I can eat tho.
The chicken avocado walnut salad looks so amazing!!! I get in a slump on dressings. I always seem to make the same one over and over. Having egg allergy, i see so many dressings have an egg as the emulsifier. Ugh. Needed some inspiration on low carb dressing. 😊 thanks!
Yum, chicken, spinach, avocado. I eat this one a lot, but not with the nuts, I love walnuts, so I will probably love this. The colours in your top looks so nice on you and I like the glasses. 💕🇨🇦👍🐶🐶
Probably sounds weird but in my world most anything can become a salad and so I love salads. I enjoy mixing warm food with greens, cabbage, slaw mix. Maybe not technically a salad according to Culinary Institute of America but some of my favorites are warm pasta dishes tossed with romaine and shredded carrots, a cup of hot chili and salsa mixed with slaw mix, Mississippi roast mixed with greens, etc. I like the way the hot food slightly wilts the greens and no salad dressing needed, except everything gets topped with hot sauce because that goes without saying 😂
Oh my goodness do these salads...makes me want salads..lol.thats always a great thing.fantastic.thank you so much for sharing bc salads can get so boring.not the case here for sure.love and well wishes to you and family 🙏🙏🤗🙏❤❤❤❤
I’m going to try that strawberry dressing - I have some strawberry balsamic vinegar from the oil and vinegar store which I think would be good in it! I’ve been buying the broccoli slaw and adding it to the arugula and spinach mix for our salads recently. We also marinated the boneless, skinless chicken thighs in the Buffalo Wild Wings Asian Zing sauce for a couple of hours before I air fried it - that’s excellent hot or cold as protein option in our salads. TFS.
The pasta, asparagus salad looked the best to me, but they all looked good. And when you zest your lemon, do you notice you have to keep looking at the lemon to see what your scraping that’s because you’re doing it wrong honey. , The zester goes on top of the lemon and then it’ll just, gather up on top and you could just tip the zested over and tap out t. That way you can see were you’re scraping the lemon. Lust a little food for thought. Love your channel . Great salads.
