You are right, Femme is not a dupe for Hypnotic Poison. I like all the Femme line, winter, summer, og & og shimmer! But the Femme Summer of last year was a blast of potent, strong powdery jasmine, very beautiful, I think they changed it maybe? I reviewed it on Fragrantica
I feel like no fragrance RU-vidrs understand that many people NEED nice, light, easy grab, non offensive fragrances because we can not perfume bomb our workplaces. Co-workers hate that and so do many employers. The entire office or area do NOT want to have to smell you all day long. Or we work with clients/patients that also do not want to have to smell whatever WE like perfume wise. A sillage is just NOT and option. Also, that is simply what some people prefer. Especially, if they are prone to getting migraine headaches.
Oh i do absolutely understand! I love fragrances but there is a time and place for them. I still feel like these aren’t the best choice for office wear and others because of their sweetness/syntheticness (with the exception of Femme). I personally would not appreciate someone in my office wearing a strawberry sweet candy fragrance or grapefruity soda fragrance. Zara has much better options for the office or hospital or situations like that such as OG Femme, Nude Bouquet, Lightly Bloom, Cashmere rose, Romance d’iris, White and OG Wonder Rose for example. Another perfect one that is sadly discontinued now was Blanc-a-Porter.
Your comment while understandable is not entirely true. There are some reviewers out there who talk about lighter scents. You could probably even request such video. But you’re right that there aren’t so many.
I recently tried Femme and Pink Flambe, and I also was not very impressed. I love Zara fragrances and look forward to all of their new releases, but I have been really quite underwhelmed by their releases this year. Definitely hoping they come out with something with more depth, complexity, and longevity!
Thanks so much for doing this review! These appear to be the same summer versions as they put out last year. Last year I blind bought Tuberose Summer because I really like the original Tuberose, and that's so funny... I immediately thought it smelled like drugstore hair products, and specifically what I was thinking of was like a Garnier Fructis-type scent. It don't hate it but I definitely don't love it and seldom reach for it. It also has none of the original Tuberose DNA - so I was hesitant to order any other summer versions. Based on your review, I think I might pick up the summer Femme and summer Wonder Rose during the next semi-annual sale, though, if they're like half price!

Tired of these Zara fragrances that are just average at best, forgettable and last on the skin for 5 minutes tops. Only a handful have longevity so even though they are inexpensive they become the opposite as you have to spray the entire bottle for them to last😳
I totally understand! That was part of what inspired my youtube channel. I feel like zara sometimes has really great underrated and well performing fragrances (golden decade, energetically new york, fashionably london, and many more) but then you also get these types of bottles that are just not worthy.
I dropped by Zara and did t have a good sniff but your review probably give a better understanding as I found it’s easier to detect the notes when I’m not overwhelmed by all other scents around me while people consistently testing😂😂😂 I do love the fun design though.
Very generous rates, I would give them 2,they all are disappearing in about less than a hour, all are alcoholic boring fragrances. Waste of money, skip
