the reason Venom is now an antihero instead of a villain is that he met a regenerating degenerate named "Wade Wilson" and gained some of his powers and personality traits... also he is only kind because his host just before Wade happened to be a kind Mexican who kept him alive by giving him candy containing the exact chemical he needs in order to survive(which is also found in brains and mycelium)
