For anyone wondering, there's not a lot of information out there on the Dirty Fingers Plus apart from the fact it's slightly higher output than the regular DF, but I found the regular one was noticeably brighter when I changed it out on my ES339.
I just bought this same model last week. This might be the best guitar I ever owned. I love playing it!!! I can't believe this guitar didn't sell. It's awesome. Also, I agree the plastics are SHIT, lol. That's the only thing I'm changing.
I found one of those at nearly half price after they stopped making them. It was better than the TD Epiphone, but the problem was I felt that the thick, plasticky finish was smothering the resonance of the guitar. I have since stripped the paint off, cut diamond shaped soundholes in it and gave it a custom AVA inspired paint job with glow in the dark paint, and it sounds so much better.
strange how this video popped up today. i just picked up the same guitar "2013 Gibson ES-335 Studio" locally on FB market place for a cool $500 bucks. the guy said it was a gift from a GF back in 2013 and he never played it (and it shows like new)
@@b_ry_ce OOOOH! What was the amp? I had a TD Epiphone before I got the Gibson that I painted. I bought it cheap in a January sale, but later sold it for about £50 more than I bought it, but it just about broke even with the cost of the gig bag.
@@KahnuevsKrake I think the 335 studio sounds better anyway. It's just cool to have the signature guitar tho. I'm playing on a Mesa boogie lone star. I love that amp
At 1:19 the “Mick Jagger’s mouth” comment-yeah, your cutaway clip shows Steven Tyler. He’s the singer for Aerosmith. He is not Mick Jagger. Mick Jagger sings for the Rolling Stones. Not sure if I should bother watching the rest of this video if you can’t get your mouths right. UPDATE: Besides, that initial hiccup-glad I watched all the way through great video.
