I completely forgot that the current CEO/Owner of SSO did not create SSO. They basically bought it and turned it into something else. I am curious to know who currently owns the rights to the comics and Starshine games.

Yeah it's so clear that's what happened, I'm still so attached to the old game instead of all this it is now... I still play out of habit and I don't have much choice but I miss the way Jorvik felt

I feel kind of the same. There is no other game like old sso where horses and magic where on same level. Even if animals were magical they still animals that feard some places, that got cold, hungry, hurt ect. they made sounds... God I loved this game soo much, not only cus' of horses. Bruh I even remember being harassed in school becouse of playing this game cus' you know how funny is making fun of someones hobby, making it waird AF with some commants. Still, I played it. I play it now, but just becouse i cannot let go of this nostalgia, and honestly I don't think that there is some horse game that will make me feel the same now.

It is always fair to criticize a product made for a consumer, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. It’s only how you go about the criticism that can get unfair. All of your criticisms towards the game are valid. You haven't been unnecessarily cruel, you just long for a game that doesn’t really exist anymore. I made a comment on one of Rattle’s videos recently about the whole kid’s content thing. I’ll say it again here too. They shot themselves in the foot when they decided a younger audience couldn’t handle mature and dark themes. Kids can handle that stuff. Avatar The Last Airbender handled it beautifully, and so do other media and games. We don’t give kids enough credit. Star stable is dead in the water with the dumbed down writing, and honestly lots of kid’s content suffers from this even outside of SSO now. It’s so disappointing. On the topic of your RU-vid being your income, have you considered trying another game just to see how it does? Maybe if you try another game you want to try, you’ll be able to take some of your audience with you and grow a new one. It’s worth trying if you feel this awful. Please at least consider it.

Yeah kids can handle a lot more, I grew up watching pirates of the Caribbean, lord of the rings, transformers, star wars, avatar, jurassic park movies like that (like been 'watching' these since birth as my father loved them) and though obviously those are not heavy horror movies, they're clearly not targetted at 6 year olds which is the age I got obsessed with these aswell. Kids aren't dumb scared idiots who can't tell fiction and game from reality

I didnt even notice the stamina bar was removed, so i just kept on spamming W out of frickin muscle memory when i knew i didnt have to. I still continue to press W like 500 times cause im scared the horse will stop💀 core memory of sso 2016

I so wish they would stick to the original lore and story, I’ve been playing since 2013 and the old lore (I also played winter riders and star shine legacy) was just amazing, even in the beginning of sso up until like 2016? Or that huge gap where there was no story quests and all of sudden they changed the cannon and ruined the lore and game

It's insanely clear that this game has become yet another heartless collector game. Yeah, they're Finally doing updates they should have done a long time ago, but from what we're seeing they're just rushing through it and not putting much thought behind them. Hell they knew the engine update was riddled with bugs and incomplete but they rushed the progress anyways and now we're facing more bugs than ever with players constantly getting banned left and right for No Reason at all and even using items that SSO Placed In Themselves then just wait until it becomes a problem to fix these issues or to even Humor the idea of fixing them soon. It's hard to be honest about this game, not only because the community is so rabid when it comes to Opinions either it be Good or Bad, but also because this game really has done a lot for me mentally. It just sucks all around at this point.

I hate how so many of us GREW UP with this game when the themes were darker and for an older audience, now it truly is just kids' shitshow with FOMO and nothing else to add. I like to play from time to time, buy some stuff ride around but it feels so pointless. I will never understand why the Main scenario quest is being held under a 24h time gate, it feels incredibly pathetic that u have paid for the game and then u need to wait for a main scenario quest? like, today's MMO games have become just so predatory and cheap. I'm sick and tired of store mounts, of only new horses for SSO, for cosmetic items instead of gameplay and depth. But the thing is, people will buy shit from them regardless, and since capitalism is a tragic invention, they will not do anything better than the bare minimum. Sorry for the language but I'm a grown-ass woman now and seeing this shit as I grow older makes me furious. No passion is being put into anything these days and it's just preposterous.

Sorry for my English ^^ I really want to see something complicated in the game, by type, the possibility of buying a house and arranging it, I want to do some remels that are in most MMORPGs. It also annoys me that the game is literally not optimized and can hang even on powerful computers. but the developers don't give a shit about all this, I'm sick of the same type of racing, there's nothing to do in the game, there's no way to develop your character properly. I had to switch from it to BDO (black Desert Online), yes, this is not a game about horses, but there is horse breeding as a craft, and the horse has a rather important and interesting role. Star stable, I love with all my heart, but I hate all these little things, if I have a choice of BDO or SSO, I will choose BDO

I like the game but i understand Why old player have hate love for starstable and it not the same anymore. I am older player my self and i am only on if i want see new update or train horses. I have moved on from sso and play other games like minecraft and overwatch and final fantasy and red dead You dont need to yt video on sso if you do not like it. you can do other game videos or other stuff if you want income from yt.

@@yuulan_ Once a month and almost every day is a BIG difference. Siren's every video is about SSO and has a gameplay of it in the background, but she still manages to say that she hates SSO. If the game was so boring I doubt Siren's channel would still exist. I don't like the game too so I don't play it anymore. Also - I'm not hating..

Even if this is your income, I feel like you should quit for real and start something new with your channel. The depressive atmosphere of this game will only make you worse. Sometimes risks and sacrifices need to be made due to constant negativity.
