Die einzige Stadt wo ich froh bin nur auf der Autobahn fahren zu müssen, ich hatte fast ein Schlaganfall wegen den Straßennetz. Naja ich bin nicht so viele Spuren in eine Richtung gewohnt, sonst ist es recht schön

@@rendersnek i should explain how it worked. so basically the small gear turns and makes a "Tick" noise. as the minute clock makes the whole gear set move and make a louder tick noise. i didn't experience the uhh hour clock tick noise but its definitely loud, we had to go up a pretty steep set of stairs btw.

I'm afraid you misread - the clock hits 9:00 when it opens. Anyway, I'm guessing that was not the point of the question ... the answer is: No reason 😄

​@@rendersnekbig one is for hours and small one for minutes, if you didn't know. It is because people cant see small one from long distance.... this Grazer clock hits on 11:45.

@@rendersnek Back in the days when clocks just got hands (before they just made a sound on a bell), they had one hand only. An hour hand. A minute hand, also called the quarter hand, was added later, but it wasn't as important so it was smaller. That's why there is two chapter rings on the dial - one with numbers 1 to 12 (hours), and one with numbers 1 to 4 (quarters). I've been to Graz myself and I've seen the clock, aswell as heard it and saw how it works.
