I was just told that if I’m selling something that comes in a box ( like a nutribullet for example), I can just wrap the box in paper, label it, and send it on its way. I guess that’s true? In this video, you talk about slapping a label right on the air filter. It’s such a relief knowing I don’t need to find a box for a box. I frankenboxed the nutribullet and it’s not pretty. 😂
It depends how well the item is packed inside that box. If it came from the factory and it's not breakable in that condition then I would put a label on it. But if it's something that is collectible and you want the box to be pristine for example shoes or collectibles I would always box in a box.
You need to make a video on how you ship these big items, in what you ship them etc. Are these Amazon returns? We dont have these types of outlets other than bins for clothes here in Loss Wages, NV. Or at least i dont know any.
I am going to have to travel and find some bins. You get really good high dollar items at the bins. Need to get my profit margins up. Thanks for the info!
I’m super annoyed about the algorithm and someone opening a return! I have a no returns policy but buyers still open a return for a pair of shorts that don’t fit when I post pictures WITH MEASUREMENTS! Then, sales come to a grinding halt. The customer is not always right!!!!
Depends on the size of the item but you always measure the bag flat before anything is in it. So usually 12x10x1 is my most popular or my big big ones are 20x20x1. Poly bags (padded or not) get a X1 dimension for height. Hope that helps.
I got a return on Mercari. Got royally screwed. I clearly stated item needed servicing, and was sold AS IS. Mercari still allowed them to return it. $1000 item, so really messed me up.
@desertsellers Thank you. Yeah, I really hope I can sell it again quick. That money was for my girl, who needs it for her Cancer bills. So it really was a bad hit for us.
