Fr my coaches sometimes put us against a black belt but the black belts are holding back like the most they can do is 45 kick and they have to do it lightly but they're still fast as hell
Its not about the belt its about the expirience amd knowledge look i was in taekwondo and im an yellow belt i fought an blue belt and won why? The guy was out of my weight class and 2 heads bigger than me but i used this to myself and destroyed him i was waiting for him to attack and set his foot down after he set it down the exact moment his foot touched the floor i launched my kick then i got aggressive amd stopped the same again and again till i won
Give respect to both the black belt didn't harm him he treat him like a brother and the yellow belt is ready to fight with him without any arguments ❤❤❤❤❤
It's cowardly to put a yellow belt to fight like that with a black belt, even more shameful for a black belt to want to fight with all their power against a yellow belt, or it's a bad example

@@BullshitingMyWayToTheTop In my opinion you can use like the balance for kicks you learned from karate( I was on shotokan too) like when I started Tkd I already was pretty good on the kicks but in tkd you learn different things and techniques and I’m pretty sure you’ll be great at taekwondo
I am green stripes yellow belt but since I'm 12 they let me fight the black belt I was heart attack btw I did drag the black belt in purpose I have 8 points eheh I tryed mAh best but I gave up and raise my hand😅😢@@pawanmagar-trekkingguide
It was better if he played simple cause he is already an the black black is playing like some sort of national respect each other is more important then winning
Don't worry, unless it lists that its full impact, you're usually gonna be fine. Coming from someone who does karate, our tournaments usually are split between belts (yellow against yellow or orange). And even if you do somehow get paired with a higher belt like a brown or black belt, they'll probably win yeah, but they'll most likely just do light contact. Be relaxed and confident, take in all the information you can in your tournament so you can walk out better then you were coming in, I'm sure you'll do great.
Fun fact: your a 14 year old and you are a black belt you are called a junior black belt.So the junior black belt (not the person that is being called a junior black belt but the belt itself) is red on the left side and black on the right side.
i am also a black belt but i wanna tell you that respect all the belt but if your opponent is smaller belt than yours dont spar like i am only the one play easliy and normally with them huuge respect to both of them
