This was excellent. In other words quality and effort matters to create user satisfaction. Not so simple to execute for many people, but that's the gist of it.

That’s a crazy but logical way to look at it. Google is a giant A/B testing platform and the users are “voting” on what’s good or not and Google is noting that accordingly!

Re: "testing" - does this mean updating old content won't actually help you regain rankings after the HCU, or in general, if it's initial incarnation was tested by google and it failed? I've been updating a ton of old crappy content as of late.

So what I learned from today's video is to give the user what they want as soon as possible, if possible build some backlinks for those pieces of content. As per the document reviews, here is my question: Does content coverage and word count no longer matter?
