I agree with a lot of people are saying you're using the wrong attachment. The V15 comes with so many attachments there's one for just about any scenario.
@@ashc3765it barely cleaned the powder off the floor. I don’t see the need to have so much ground clearance because if you’re vacuuming large particles you just use a hose attachment - and then a roller for fine particles 🤷🏻♂️
You're using the wrong attachment for the Dyson. Further, who in the world spills a box cereal and a bag of popcorn and a cup of flour? This is the wrong tool for the job. I would go straight to a broom or my shop vac before my Dyson V15. Ridiculous 🤣
You're missing the point. The Ryobi has the same roller head and is doing fine. I love my Dyson (V10) for the convenience, but it's such a crappy vacuum. I think it'll outclass the Ryobi for maneuverability, but as a vacuum, it's very limited.
@@slowianskazielarka the cleaner head has front openings for larger debris. They can be opened and closed. Typically when vacuuming hard surfaces you want them opened to allow larger pieces in. This idiot didn’t do that on purpose
If you have a dyson and so much debris. Just detach the head and suck the large particles so it wont scatter around, then the rest with the brush roller. Done.
Dude, you should take off the brush and let the big materials suck straight into the vacuum, and the rest you can use the brush again to clean up the dust and smaller particles... Just don't make your life harder, every vacuum should have able to done it
Anyone who is not a complete idiot knows this test is flawed. The vacuums were not made to pick up huge bits like those. That's what the broom and dustpan are for.
At the end of the push portion for the Dyson and the Ryobi, you can see the video was cut and edited. There is some missing time in there as they pull each vacuum back it cannot be trusted that it is from that actual first push forward.
Got my cordless Prettycare 2 years ago and It works great. Much cheaper than other brands with similar functions. I use it fro carpet and pet hair vacuum. Love it so much
Had a v10 Dyson for 3yrs. Made the switch to the Ryobi, worst decision of my life. After 4months I returned it and upgraded to the V15 gen5 complete. The suction power and picking up dirt/dust in the carpet is no match with the Dyson. You’ll see the difference between the two.
@@gibco25-offical56 I've had a Dyson v6 since 2017 and yes I've had issues like faulty heads and attachments, the main unit has been fine. One call to customer service and they've replaced each part. The great CS itself is with the extra price to me.
Dyson still did better. Picked up all of the small stuff dust and all. The other vacuum is garbage. Open the gates on the Dyson as well so large items are allowed in.
Screw both and get the newest Shark Stratos stick vac, it literally can’t clog just like their vertex but with more power and more room for debri and lifts everything! I just had to return the Ryobi dual brush stick vac (breaks my heart bc I wanted it for its battery capabilities) because it clogged so often it wasn’t worth the effort to continue to stop mid vac and completely break down including both rollers to dig out dog hair! That and the 4amp batteries died within 20-30min on eco. Don’t get it if your dog sheds or if you have large rooms!
I don't think I have ever used a Dyson or any vacuum using the roller for that kind of mess. It would be far easier b use my mini wet/dry vac. The Dyson is still superior for the normal weekly vacuuming on hardwood and carpet.
They've only upped the rate of planned obsolescence. Look at stuff from the 60s/70s, you can machines that still run with little to no maintenance. Now it seems like 20% of things are made to fail within a year and 80% within 5.
The first dyson brush it's closed all the way on the front of the brush! You have to open it all the way to the left and i think you know that already, you only wanted to put the dyson in a bad spot. 👎
Shark Stratos or it’s older version the shark vertex seems to be the best after trial and error with several: bissell, Ryobi (the worst!) and even an older version of dyson that died early on.
Don't trust Dyson. Bought a stick vacuum, lasted one year, they said they'd fix it but actually put the repair on hold, so no vacuum after months of trying to claim repair under warranty. Crappy company
