FC Barcelona 2024/25 is well under way. The squad under Hansi Flick returned to work at the Ciutat Esportiva on 10 July and the new coach has been aided by his new coaching staff. On Saturday 13 July at the Ciutat Esportiva the new coaching staff had their official photograph taken. On Saturday there were two training sessions, one on the morning and one in the early evening local time. At the former Hansi Flick and his players were surprised by a damp surface after some welcome rain cooled down the city the night before.

Like the person mentioned above, he’s not mentally or physically at 100%. Xavi gave him plenty of minutes and opportunities, although he wasn’t horrible in many of those opportunities he was not running, not sprinting, not pressuring, walking on the field like if he was Messi at 35, so when you don’t help the team, don’t put the effort, a top club like Barca cannot keep you in the team or waste minutes on you when they could give out those minutes to other players

Barca under Flick is going to shock everyone get ready.. the preseason will consist of double trainings to maximum intensity and at the same time Hansi will bring in new tactical ideas but also prepare the players bodies. Also keep an eye on “traffic light system 💪 those in green will train normal while those in red are in cusp of injuries so they will be carefully handled and not train. You got the traffic light system wrong. It’s used for the GYM workouts and not pitch trainings. Those in red will need to lift more weights and get stronger to make it to the green zone.

Intensity was never the problem with Barcelona, consistency was. When Xavi first arrived, I remember Barca being laser focused. They were on a roll playing some nice futbol. But they started to lack consistency & focus and it showed towards the second season with Xavi. Hopefully Flick knows what he’s doing with this team
