@@Sarkios He didnt at all rofl, he did in the first fight and got tko'ed in the second he was focused and serious... then he started to trash talk him after the KO and got schooled 50-45 by Strickland so he's right never trash Pereira or its gonna end bad in a way or the other 😂
@@DarthVader-wu9lsits 3-1 and Alex will never ever rush Izzy against the cage for a counter punch again. It will only be 4-1, 5-1, 6-1 now, which is why Izzy will never fight Alex again. He still needs to beat Dricus or Sean to show hes still worthy of fighting Periera
Adding more of what Alex said “I always respect my opponets because I know how hard It’s to do this job, but he acted disrespectful so that was the minimum I could do to him.”
Glass Chin Pereira, gets lucky once agin beat the 2nd worst LHW champion of all time coming off a catasrophic injuiry 😂😭😸🤣 Fake Legacy, full of lucky flukes 🎲🍀🎰
@@swedishlegko there's definitely abit of humour to it considering the celebration but I agree. The funniest part for me was when Dana was asked about it😂 he said "I agree that was incredibly gangster"😂
Holds wins over five former UFC champions - Israel Adesanya, Sean Strickland, Jan Błachowicz, Jiří Procházka and Jamahal Hill in first 8 UFC fights. Absolute madness 😅
It's not really insane.. none of those so called champs have any defenses outside of adesanya . The LHW belt been passed around like a 2 dollar hoe.. none of those dudes are solidified champs.
@@m.m14433yeah Alex is definitely the 2nd best fighter of the group behind Izzy. Especially after you watch the fights between him and Alex you can tell Izzy has the upper hand
Periera is fastly becoming my favorite fighter. Insane natural talent combined with a lethal striking style, patient and calculating. Respectful with a decent level of humility. The traits and character of a Champion.
@@chriscranston7189the fact he’s 30 something and still champ… the way he fights is very tactical and I love it. He will have was less cte then someone who fights like Justin but he shouldn’t fight until he has cte, he should get out soonish
@@MasonThomas-gn3yuhill wasn’t paying attention and Alex took advantage of that still a great win and regardless I still don’t think hill wins but I don’t think he gets slept that early if he was more focused but either way his fault keep your hands up at all time 😊
Wym it looked like a mismatch IT WAS A FREAKING MISMATCH.. lil dude didn’t stand a chance man i felt bad for him i feel like dana sacraficed him for the brazilian amazon God.
Flukeatan Pereira is the luckeist fighter in the ENTIRE UFC. 🍀🎰🎲 Spedrun to a title fight he didn't deserve(fought ZERO grapplers or well rounded fighters) and then got lucky in almost every title fight ever after 1st Adesanya fight: almost gets finished in 1st round but is saved by the bell and proceeds to get his a$$ kicked across the octagon for 3.5 rounds before getting THE WORST early stoppage in UFC history(couldn't even knock Izzy down)(overrated power) 2nd Adesanya fight: Gets his glass chin cracked by pillowfisted gynosanya and sent to the shadow realm 🤣😂😸😭(hilarious) Jan fight: Gets exposed for having ZERO power(Couldn't even tickle Jan) and the Judges gift him a fradulent victory 🤥 Jiri Fight: Gets lucky again and gets the 2ND WORST early stoppage in all of UFC history over Jiri, who was still conscious and ready to fight(once again exposed for having ZERO power he could barely knock out mush brained Jiri) Hill Fight: Gets a free win + Legacy and fights the 2nd worst LHW Champion in UFC history coming off a catastrophic injuiry. Flukeatan isnt even top 100 UFC fighters ever 🚫🙅♂️.
What I truly like about Alex is how no nonsense the dude is....he is not here to play games with you at all and he carries himself very serious and doesn't bullshit around....love that 💯
Dude is there to fight and not with no bs forsure and his face says it loud a clear. The amount of focus he has is scary in of itself. He has pure warrior genes . Nothing he does comes off as an act. Unlike jiri's samari dance stuff ect.
Hill and his coach were the only 2 people in the world who thought he was levels above Pereira. That's why he had an unbelievably huge chip on his shoulder when people considered him an underdog. Guess now he found out 😊
I don't think even Jamahl believed what he was saying in the buildup to this fight. I think he was just trying to convince himself that he had a chance. Trying to pump himself up essentially. But I think he knew deep down, exactly what would happen and it did.
@mthimkhulu30 you gotta have some over avarage striking first to get to use you wrestling on those guys. Otherwise you just Ben Asscream your way to the hospital
Glass Chin Pereira, gets lucky once agin beat the 2nd worst LHW champion of all time coming off a catasrophic injuiry 😂😭😸🤣 Fake Legacy, full of lucky flukes 🎲🍀🎰
@@Karmakaze137 that’s my point, he will let it get to him. So many fighters now have reached great peaks only to get humiliated, and sent on a path of destruction. Title fight, humiliating round 1 KO, it’s hard to recover from that emotionally
@@Karmakaze137 There's a difference tho Alex is 3 - 1 against Izzy and he also knock him out cold too so that lost didn't bother him for long, Hill on the other hand is super emotional, he talk a bunch and end up being Alex easiest fight getting brutally ko.
@@unforgivable_236 you are like that little sibling that plays uno 10 times and only wins once but brags to the whole neighborhood aren’t you? Lol. I’m a huge Izzy fan… but Izzy talks so much shit. And Alex has done so much of what Izzy wanted to do lol. It’s only fair that people make fun of Izzy.
@@Observablehumor saying that Izzy has dreams..for Alex to accomplish is wild ...he practically made Alex dreams come true by giving him a platform in UFC ...I'm like that lil annoying sibling but if I'm being completely honest Izzy deserves a lil respect for sharing the field with Alex ...I mean respectfully if it weren't for Izzy ...Alex wouldn't have that hunger to pursue a UFC career he paved the way for him and I give em props for that 👍
@@unforgivable_236 we agree on everything you just said actually… I’m still going to laugh at Alex beating him in two sports… memeing opponents after Izzy lost to the guy Alex trains with… Izzy failing to break into light heavyweight… Alex becoming champ there… if Alex beats jones it would be the greatest ending. Lol
Yeah it’s one thing to sell the fight like Connor, chael, and even Colby but Hill was just obnoxious and he never showcased the skills to back it up. He got humbled and he deserved it.
@@flugamenastyedits24 AMEN to that . Even with Connor and Khabib, Khabib didn't understand the assignment . Connor is a showman he sold that fight like he sold the Floyd fight .
@@flugamenastyedits24Conor and Colby went way way further in the trash talk. Colby insulted Leon Dead dad, Conor insulted The religion ,the wife even the country of Khabib. Jamahal trash talk was extremely mild, Alex is just continuing the script.
I hope one day this dude learns English even if it's after his fighting career just so he can start a podcast and tell us some stories in English. This dude probably has some Banger ass stories😂
Izzy had been in calls with Hill and giving advices for the Pereira fight. And Izzy also did a collab with Khaby. Alex did that meme because after all that advice Hill got, he still got KO'd in the first round😂
Probably because his style is very risky. Like if you look at most of his ufc fights you can notice he gets caught a lot and was even knocked out once. I believe that is why Jamahal Hill was saying that Alex is not as good as people make him sound. Bro got overconfident and payed the price
@@erickhouston2967Hill knew he lost when he took this fight. Broke his Achilles last year, not fully recovered and has not trained as much. He basically admitted he took this fight on short notice for $. Alex would've won anyways though.
@@Lenin636he doesn’t speak English yet. He is not good at it - because he doesn’t speak much. He is more the quiet type, focused on family and that’s it
Alex is my fav fighter and personality to watch in the sport at the moment, but Jamahal was just promoting the fight and making it more interesting. Alex shouldnt take it personal. Hill said he wasnt gonna rub it in Alex's face if he won. Hill created a great reward/great risk situation with his pre fight talk knowing that getting KO'd was possible. He put it on the line and deserves respect as a competitor.
You didn't understood. I am brazilian. He said exactly that he understands Hill's promotional before. But, after the press, Hill continued to trash talk. That's not normal, a respectfull figher don't continue to act like that after promotion. (at this press Alex didn't explained much, but there are others in witch he explains better).
Ego and arrogance caught Hill. Striking at normal distance with Pereira, a world champion Kickboxer? Not even set up a takedown to make Pereira more cautious with his striking.
He is not a grappler, maybe only trains grappling recent few years. Anyway not every wrestlers have cauli, my HS coach does not eventhough he was a decorated state champion once.
Yeah I never paid attention to notice either. Not surprising though since he has been a kickboxer his whole life until he started training mma an got in the UFC. Gotta train alot of jujitsu and wrestling to get the cauliflower ears. Lucky him because it would suck feeling like you have rocks in your ears when you lay down at night.
Alex "Poatan" makes you think time travel is possible. He's like an ancient warrior. I don't even make eye contact during his interviews 😂 My favorite fighter since he's been in UFC..
@whayes8084 Jon and Mighty Mouse have a fight or 2 left 🤔 And Jones is actually a great guy. He does stupid things sometimes but he is a good dude. Kamaru got flattened and now his mouth is nice and shut.
Translation missed the context at the start, Alex said "that [i.e., the celebration] was thought out in advance with the team, if the knockout happened like that" even though he was going ready for 5 rounds.
Let's be honest Jamaal asked for those signatures knowing damn well he was gona lose and if the event did great ( which it did) he could resell that for millions or a couple thousand
I use to never ever talk trash no matter how good I played or how bad I was at a wrestling tournament. Im a huge believer in karma or the saying what goes around comes around. I felt if I talked trash after a good tackle etc the next play I’d get burned for a td Also the opp that talk the most usually was the weakest link. If u bad u know it and so does everyone else period.
