I feel this. I recently sat at home all by myself on my birthday. Only heard from one of my seven kids. People don't realize the pain men are forced to endure.
I spent my last 4 birthdays and Christmases alone. I couldn't even make this much effort for 2023. Just another day. These girls were so sweet, I don't know if this was staged or real, but it was both heartening and crushing at the same time. As I type this, the first tears began to fall. I didnt realize how much it hurt until watching this clip. Whether staged or not, just knowing this sentiment is on someone's radar gives me a little hope. At 68, I sometimes think I will just die alone and nobody will even notice. My family is all gone, my kids live thousands of miles away. They rarely reach out to me. This last year has been especially hard...

Makes me think of my dad on my birthday. No one called and wished me a happy birthday, but while I was in the other room, my phone started ringing. I moved as quickly as I could but missed it. I noticed that I had a voice message, and I listened to it it was my dad singing happy birthday and wishing me a happy birthday and wishing he could be there with me, and he was on the other side of the country. The smallest of things can change a person's life 😊
@stevonnie3041 My mum always sings. Happy birthday to me down the phone❤❤ I spent my 50th birthday during Covid Lock down. My 51st everyone forgot except my wonderful mum. I actually asked my husband what the date was the day after? He just said its your Birthay soon what do you want do?! My mums in her 70s, 100s of miles away, but I always get my Happy birthday song.❤
All the guy next to him could do was be a jerk & pull his phone out to film a man alone on his birthday. I’m so happy the girl & her friends didn’t do the same. Great to see people with good hearts. ❤

This is so beautiful to watch. I just went through something similar on my last birthday. Though it was arguably worse. Was out with my now not family, due to a rough breakup. I was sat in a restaurant with everyone, i was left alone with my family, theyre all sitting there having a jolly time. Bear in mind theres like 12 people there. They eventually walk out and left me with the bill. Nobody offered to split it. Shit came to nearly £500. Wish i was lucky enough to live in the same world as people with hearts of pure gold. ❤

Everything is fake in shorts, but showing fake hope, fake love, that's just exactly like making fun of those people who have to deal with loneliness, depression everyday. Magnifique,vraiment si ils pouvaient y avoir un peu plus de gens comme ça. The loneliness of the birthday guy. The malice of the person recording him. How the first girl notices the birthday guy. How the entire group subsequently joins him with a cake. Finally he also captures the malicious guy leaving (with perhaps an ashamed expression on his face)! This video, which is absolutely unscripted, would not have reached us, had the camera guy not chosen to share his findings.
