This is something that bothers me, aros can love and be in a relationship!Even aroace! It only means we can't feel romantic attraction or in the ace case no sexual attraction!Platonic relationships are the result, please do the research friend :)!
I was so surprised when I discovered that netflix and chill doesn't mean netflix and chill I was like What that fuck but why like you have netflix in front of you
Took me a while to realize it meant the same as when people in spain say " come over and we can watch a movie and hang out". I hate it, like if you offer me a lotr marathon and popcorns i expect that, don't use it as excuse to try the other thing, just tell me your real intentions so i can just not go.
Shoutout to my friend with benefits. We're both aro and ace, and planning on getting married for tax reasons, and because I'm joining the military and they'd get benefits. We've got this whole thing planned out, down to the part where they themselves gets to put up with my family instead of me.
@@mushroomlover479 oh I know it's not true, I am aromantic as well tho so for me it's more of a _??? That's the point_ sort of situation. That's great though, best of luck!
Us aro's get it too! It's actually very common and mistaken for people not being able to love. I can't help but get a little teacher blood pumping through me when people make it out like that.
aphobe means discriminatory to the ace/aro community, but it could also mean afraid of nothing, and if you hate the aces/aro’s, you clearly fear nothing, fighting the all-powerful being
What people think aces are like: ew I hate the human body Reality: I like both angel cakes (🍰+🕷😈) Not ace but I’m not attracted to people in the usual way
As a demi-sexual/romantic, this compilation made my day even though I may not be completely ace/aro, it makes me happy to see the ace/aro community getting recognized & having awareness spread about them.
I’m definitely ace but the more research I do into romantics the more I start to question whether I’m panromantic or aromantic. Currently at demipan but that is very subject to change
I appreciate all of the Asexual TikTok compilations on RU-vid but I would appreciate it more if there was more representation in more movies/shows/cartoons/books and not having Hollywood change characters completely like a certain characters from one of my favorite shows, ps if you know which character I’m talking about thank you if you agree
I hate the way aro/ace folks are thought to be cold, mean and heartless. I know for a fact, as a person under both the aro and ace umbrellas, I'm actually very loving, friendly and I secretly love hugs
My dad having only daughters Older sister: Married, has kids Younger sister: has had boyfriends and wants to get married someday. Me: you think the family name stops because I’m a girl? Try AroAce💚♠️💜😎✌🏻
Asexual 💚🤍🖤 Aromantic 🖤🤍💜 Aroace 🧡💛🤍💙 Trans 💙💖🤍💖💙 Nonbinary 💛🤍💜🖤 Bi 💖💜💙 Gay 💚🤍💙 Les 🧡🤍💖 Pan 💖💛💙 (These are not all of the lgbtq flags, just some of the most common [I know aromantic asexual and aroace aren’t that common I just wanted to put them coz I’m aroace])
when im an adult im probably gonna marry a male best friend cus it would be sooo fun to live with your best friend, ya know? That way the parents are happy and im happy too :) and im probably gonna adopt as an adult
So now is aromanticism the lack of desire for a relationship or not being able to experience romantic attraction? Since I guess there's a difference (English is not my first language so it might be a misunderstanding, sorry in that case), but I hear the first one so often. But that sounds like the people simply don't want a relationship (which is okay but I want one yet can't fall in love. soo, I'm confused)
Hey!! I’m super late, but aromanticism is the second one! Not feeling/feeling very little romantic attraction! This often coincides with not wanting a relationship, but that’s not the defining feature.
3:54. Does anyone have the link to this offhand? I really don’t feel like digging through 2 years of TikToks to find it but I want to send it to some friends
As a asexual idk if I’m aro cause I feel emotional and aesthetic attraction to people I’m saying grey romantic for now i would be happy to call myself a aro if I had sexual attraction which i don’t (I’ve heard some Aromantics can have sexual attraction still is that true (I’m just trying to still find myself I’m sorry)
Asexual: Cannot feel sexual attraction. Aromantic: Same thing except instead of sexual attraction its romantic attraction they cannot feel. Aroace: Someone who is both.
You’re literally calling people weird and then saying “sOrRy iF I oFfEnEd aNyOnE” If you’re gay , then you must know what homophobia is , so I have absolutely know idea why you had the idea to say that.
