🦌 THE HERDS - behind the scenes in Cape Town 

A glimpse into the puppetry workshop for THE HERDS in Cape Town, where Ukwanda Puppetry and Designs Art Collective have been designing and building the first few animals that will become a vast herd of hundreds of life-size puppet animals.
In Spring 2025, THE HERDS will journey from Congo to the Arctic Circle in a vast act of public art and climate action.
THE HERDS is created by The Walk Productions, the international team behind "Little Amal", the 12 foot tall puppet of a refugee child who has journeyed through 15 countries.
