I sometimes replace headlights on older Mercedes, but for this model, with XENON, I'd strongly advice to get them sanded and refinished, that pair of lights should be somewhere around $3000 at the dealer and it has features such as auto leveling that I'd not want to miss. The dealer should know how to polish them and can get you decent prices, but it can also be easily done at home. Would advice against kits from autozone and just go with a good youtube guide on how to sand and compound/polish them. Will look like new

Jim, Those are not the Bi-Xenon’s. Those are the Halogen housings. And if they were you can get a brand new set from autohausAZ for around $1200.

@@gentrysmith7547 really, no need to spend $1200. It's about an hour of sanding tops the first time you do it. Doesn't need to be xenon, any faded headlight can be sanded

Nice whip my guy. Only problem with these cars are cost of ownership. Hopefully you have a great mechanic and a plug at the dealership for whenever you need oem parts 🙌🏽

Thanks man I did alot of research before I bought the Mercedes and from my research I was able to gather that the CLK500 W209 is one of the most reliable cars mercedes came out with motors and transmissions are solid. Owners of the CLK500 have claimed to get over 300,000 miles but I appreciate the heads up Fam.

sadly had to sell the car because the original owner didn’t take care of it at all. to be honest the car was super reliable even though the original owner didn’t do any maintenance to the car it’s entire life.

I’m getting one today for 3200…… but got 210.000 miles on it but we’ll maintained from an old ass white guy…. Can’t wait. I hear these engines are hella reliable… can’t wait to see what you do with your… so I can copy lol

@@uzzle21 I uploaded a new exhaust video on the Mercedes a few days ago just had the secondary cats, resonator and the muffler deleted the car sounds evil now. Next is wheels and suspension.

I seen some with a chrome outline on the headlights, I think it loccs good . Them wheel arches is another place I'd probably add chrome to but I know some people don't like excess chrome .
