Milo and Murphy in the tub is priceless!!!! Do you ever stop....my goodness girl...looking forward to a new year with you!!! You are a true cook....you wash all your veggies and fruit...i watch all these people shove containers of food in their fridge without washing and I'm so grossed out. If they only knew that mice and critters run across the packaging and food...and they DONT KNOW ORGANIC versus normal....hahahahha.... My sister works in food production and if people only knew what crawls on their food and packaging.....ugh. Thank you Jen for always washing your food !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only care about the expiration date on meat and seafood but especially with dairy I never had any issues as long as it's not moldy, smells or tastes funny especially when it's still sealed. I even ate a joghurt that was almost a year past the date and after I stirred it really well it tasted great.

I always thought ground turkey was a substitute for ground beef, but we tried the butterball brand, and now I like it better. I have noticed a distinct difference in flavor between the brands of ground turkey. I also use my EPC to cook my ground meat whole and chop and brown it at the same time as the veggies. Doing that makes the crumbles very fine as compared to browning from raw, even with the chopper. Congratulations on your success with the diet!
I like to deep clean my refrigerator and pantry and try to make meals out of it before going to the store too! That turkey soup looks so good, I’ll have to try it 😊
We homeschool and do a co-op type thing once a week, all day. I started taking our high energy 'puppy' (she's a little over a year) to the doggy day care so she can get worn out and not be sitting in her kennel all day. She comes home so stinky from the slobbery play, and it's worse if it's wet weather or melting snow.It's worth it for all of us for her to come home tired, but I got some doggy body spray that makes her not smell quite so doggish. 😅
I know it's not as lean as turkey, but ground pork is so dang good in tacos. Especially the ground beef and pork mixture. Holy crap. This coming from a freaking vegetarian 🤣🤣 I HAD ONE JOB! 🤣🤣🤣
Funny! I just made that muffin recipe on the back of the box. I made blueberry muffins though using the cashew pulp from my almond cow. Turned out delicious!
Love seeing Murphy and Milo!! ❤️ Also, I totally do a visual and smell test on things in the fridge. If it passes both, we eat it. Some foods last longer than others. My hubby is totally 'if it is 7 days or more old, it is gone'. Lol! I would have eaten the cottage cheese if it passed my two tests. 😉
Have you tried showering with Murphy in your walk in shower. We have three labs and a walk-in shower similar to yours and it is so easy and nice to just walk in there with them and using the handheld sprayer takes almost no time! Plus they can shake themselves off and they're still in the shower so it doesn't get all over your bathroom cupboards. 😆
Why do you store your shrimp in the veggie bin?? I would put that somewhere else where you can see it -. Same with that lettuce you put under the tortillas. I would put that on top so it is visible. I need to clean out my refrigerator too. i did it about 2 weeks ago but it needs it again. Hubby says I buy too much (I work at a supermarket and I tend to try and get the sale items more than what I really need) and it is getting messy again. I agree. Got to see what I have and make meals from that before I buy anymore BUT then I see the sales!
So funny that I was just about to leave a comment that you should try the lavash bread wraps, and then I saw them in your refrigerator. They are so good and low-calorie. I even make pizzas out of them and my kids love them. 😊

I want to make muffins now :) That container you have your dill in looks interesting. I buy a lot of dill as I use it for fermenting, pickled eggs etc then what I don't use I dehydrate but do you have it in a bit of water on the bottom? I always find it does not really last does that make it last longer? loved this video.
I generally never have to throw anything away from the fridge, but that means I am shopping more because I want to make sure we go through it all. Not sure if I am actually saving money with so many trips to the store using gas. 🤷 Thanks for the fridge inspo. 💗
I believe that brand of yogurt usually has the date on that piece of foil on the top. Yeah, I know that's the thing you rip off and throw away! I cut away most of the foil & leave the date portion.
Wow! It amazes me that you are still able to send PB &J sandwiches....Here in Canada we haven't been able to send anything with peanuts into schools in over 25 years!

I needed this today! Little hint on the berries that I saw on a blog somewhere once, put them in mason jars with normal two piece lids and it makes them last longer. I have found that it is VERY effective. With the exception of raspberries because raspberries are the Freaking worst.🙄 If anyone has any recommendation on how to make them last longer, I would be thrilled.
Pretty sure that Greek yogurt puts the date on th foil you rip off to open!? Why I don't get it!! IF I remember I write the date with sharpie on the container.
Does your Nespresso have a refillable pod? If so, it's so dang easy to just run a cleaning cycle through it with vinegar 💁♀️ I dunno, my Keurig is so easy to descale. I've only gotten the alert once, so I do run a vinegar cycle AT LEAST once a month, so if your Nespresso can say "hey, we got a problem", you can run a descaling process. This may be totally irrelevant since I've been drinking...but...ya know... You know, I talk a lot, so here we are 🤣
